On Saturday 18th November, we hosted our first in-store event at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham, inviting Swiss deep house maestro @benkaczor to take control of the turntables by performing a strictly vinyl two-hour mix spanning deep house and dub techno.

Last Saturday, London-based techno producer @dying_in_beauty performed an all vinyl DJ set at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to mark the release of ‘In Praise In Shadows’ EP issued through his own Rhythm Without Reason imprint.

A very big thank you to everyone that made it down to the store, the main man played a slamming techno set and his EP is now sold out! Earlier this month, UK-based acid house legend @ramjac performed a live reel-to-reel session at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham alongside the release of an exclusive cassette ‘Bibec Studio Extracts 1994 – 1995’ featuring five archive productions.

Marking our first ever live set at Inverted Audio Record Store, Ramjac did not disappoint, bringing a wealth of reels, analog equipment and raw experience, resulting in an enthralling performance of acid breakbeat and house music, plus an unheard version of Ramjac's cult classic 'Cameroon Massif!'.

We'd like to extend a big thank you to everyone that made it down to the record store, especially those that travelled all the way from Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Big up to Paul Chivers aka Ramjac Corporation for driving all the way from Somerset to perform in London. It's not often you get to witness a reel-to-reel set, this was a totally unique and spectacular live performance.

Our next in-store event will take place on Saturday 18th May (5-8pm) with London-based record label @baroquesunburst featuring strictly vinyl DJ sets from co-founders Big Hands, Soreab and special guests. We’ll have vinyl copies from Baroque Sunburst's discography on sale and free beer from Brixton Brewery.

@overload-liverpool joined us in London to celebrate release of an exclusive 12-inch label compilation at Inverted Audio Record Store with all vinyl DJ sets from Waxtek (@fred-464139794) and label founder @the-cyclist.

Limited to 50 units, 'OVRLPL002' is a 5-track label compilation featuring freaked-out electro, warm house, deep dub cuts, and gorgeous ambient from The Motorist, The Cyclist, Waxtek, Puncta and Aaron Thomas.

Inverted Audio Record Store Day 2025

On Saturday 16th August, we welcomed @verdant-recordings label boss Andy Green to Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to celebrate the release of 'Rain on Window', the latest EP from Istanbul-based producer Havantepe.

Havantepe is the alias of Turkish-German producer and DJ Ismail Genc, co-founder of the Sublime Porte label. Born near Stuttgart, he relocated to Istanbul in 1994 and has been producing and performing techno since 1999.

Over the years, Havantepe has released on a range of respected imprints, including Dutch label spclnch, 200 Records, and Baum Records. His latest outing arrives via Vertex - a joint venture between Verdant Recordings (Andy Green) and Exalt Records (Jamie Bargeman).

'Rain on Window' EP features three solo productions alongside two remixes, weaving together minimal dub techno textures and atmospheric electronics, crafted to captivate even the most discerning listeners.

Saturday 11th October, we welcomed @federsen, label boss of @altdub, to Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to celebrate the release of cv313 & Federsen 'Altering Dimensions Part One'.

Having recently relocated to the UK after nearly two decades in San Francisco, this session marked Federsen’s first DJ appearance on home soil since moving to the US in 2007.

For the occasion, Federsen delivered an all-vinyl deep dive into dub techno, drawing from a carefully curated selection of records by Maurizio, Echospace Detroit, Deepchord, Chain Reaction, Basic Channel, and Rhythm & Sound. The result was a transportive, dub-driven journey that perfectly captured the timeless pulse of the genre.
