Mexican label Kyma Komplex welcomes emerging artist Oto Veltauri, with his debut LP, "Dark Celebration”. a solid, electrifying journey. Influenced by the experimental works of Georgian composer Natela Svanidze and her groundbreaking piece "Epitaphium" (1974), Oto Veltauri explores into modular synthesis sounds from outside this dimension.
"Dark Celebration" blends musical genres, incorporating elements of lo-fi, acid, dark, and hypnotic vibes to create a powerful and introspective voyage. From the nostalgic sounds of 1980s drums to the pulsating basslines and ethereal samples, each track offers something distinctive and captivating.
Featuring four tracks performed on a vintage Moog Modular synthesizer from the 1960s, "Dark Celebration" showcases Oto Veltauri's evolution as a musician. While the tempo may have slowed compared to previous works, the tracks on this LP are characterized by their voluminous and varied compositions, offering a dynamic listening experience.

J-LOWER's latest EP, "Fractured Skyline," marks his sixth release under the ECU label. Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and @dublucid in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on @lucidflow, a label founded by @nadjalind and @helmut-ebritsch, also known as @klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on @piranha-siberia, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.

Currently, with countless remixes, singles, compilations, and his entire body of work focused on Dub Techno, Giuliano has centralized all his releases under one label: DUBLUCID.

Na sequência, temos “Bhaskara” do duo paulista Algebra com um ótimo contraste entre grooves retos e atmosfera brilhante. “Aesthetic”, do projeto carioca Against the Time é uma jornada evolutiva, nos guiando a partir um inicio sombrio até o apogeu luminoso e redentor. Seguimos então com o duo catarinense Obscure Sense entregando a obra prima 'Echoes', que com certez a arrancará arrepios nas pistas mundo afora com sua energia avassaladora. Distopia total! Nossa marcha ganha velocidade e timbres ácidos com “Black Lights”, de Be_bop, capixaba radicado na cidade do Porto. Rat Life is back with more unheard material from the hidden bedroom studios of East Germany. One Day In Metropia - is a project that was active around the year 2008 - operating out of the concrete suburbs of Dresden. Its main focus were live appearances in the citie’s underground electronic music circle. 

Just a few signals of its enormous creative output were published on various sound carriers to this day. So it was time to release some more of this large bulk of data that has been lurking on storage devices for years. Rat Life's operator Credit 00 is proud to be allowed to contribute a remix version to this sonic document.

Complete darkness engulfed the street as one by one each house switched off the lights inside. A curfew was no in affect all over the country and anybody who broke it would suffer grave consequences. The street lamps ommited a deep orange glow providing the only light for those who dared to travel by night. Although many were afraid to enter into the darkness, there were still nocturnal beings who would frequent the twilight hours, wittingly recruiting travellers to their growing pack each night. This was when the real excitement took place, it always is when you're breaking the rules.

Berlin-based imprint Ombra International have found a winning formula when it comes to their releases; bringing together artists who operate in the same sonic sphere who complement one another's creative outputs. Their VA EPs have seen the likes Local Suicide, Mondowski, Amarcord, Roe Deers and Ombra boss Curses, representing a cross section of sounds spanning wave, EBM, minimal synth and dark disco. This one sees Hard Fist boss Cornelius Doctor step up for a slow motion synth trip alongside Mufti, Renate's Sebastian Voigt and Colossio.
