After a couple top-notch releases from label founder @dj-sentiments, including a joint 12" featuring longtime partner in crime Franck Gérard, Lyon-based label Light On Earth returns with the vibrant debut of mysterious Lyon producer @vivance1, including remixes from Lamusa II and label boss Sentiments himself.

Golden sand dunes stretched as far as the eye could see, each grain shimmering under the sun's gaze. The air was hot and sticky, it felt like no place for life to thrive, or even exist. In the distance something broke through the hot air, disturbing the desert's peaceful surroundings. A long procession of figures rode across the expanse on horse back, the muted pitter patter of hooves resounding in perfect unison. The figures were clad in beautiful white garments and sparkling jewels, each exuding a prodigious air of regality. They proudly watched over the land, it was their home and only they knew it's secrets. 

Parisian native D.K. returns to his regular home Antinote for the second in a trilogy of three releases over the next few months. Riding For A Fall shows off D.K.'s signature style, tropical bumping rhythms, this time directed at the dance floor.

The freshly Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Timothy Clerkin delivers his third solo EP on Ransom Note Records. Once again, he develops a very particular sound, full of contrast between soft and comforting basses vs raw and grainy synths and FX. Crossover between ambient and club, this extra-terrestrial groove from the half of Eskimo Twins is part of the great ‘Unborn EP’, pertinently already supported by Optimo, Lena Willikens or Andrew Weatherall. Articulat is the artist name of Ovidiu Stanciu, a Romanian dj/producer living in Rotterdam. His first release on the AM label was very well received by critics an dj’s over the world, so now he present his second EP "Reflections". 
"Reflections" is an exploration of dance floor narratives, intending to induce a trance-like state of mind through a very physical sound experience. Drums, voices and machines come together to create a ritualistic, almost visual atmosphere. 
Gare du Nord is exploring a different kind of narrative, without words but with sounds crafted to depict a scene in which you write your own plot. It builds up slow and once it gets running it carries on a lot of weight. Just like an old steamer. And yes, it's with trains.

Their collaboration w/ the New Zealand born, Melbourne based artist is initiated by a two-track 10” featuring one original song by the artist, plus a remix by long-time label affiliate Bell Towers. 
The original “Take a step” is an instant party starter (does not take long to make its point). The remix gets all big (room) & techy. Two tracks - maximum spectacle. Right on.

This collaboration between Skatebård, Philipp Lauer & DJ Sotofett dives deep into flux borders of italo, new beat and the melodic sides of industrial. A-side is contoured by a synthetic bassline riff on trigged drums & percussions for a full club version. B-side’s two tracks are both differently bass driven, one with live piano solo and the other with airy whistles. All tracks cleverly composed with a richness of melody, rhythm & engaging arrangements.
