Invisible Inc debut release "Invisible Family" compilation showcasing a selection of acts we love and admire and by whom we will be releasing more material in future...on vinyl in collectable colour artwork sleeves as well as digital.

Featured here are fourteen artists from around the world, each pioneering a unique and individual sound, yet all treading a common path into peripheral, at times wonky, leftfield territory: from new age ambient to krautrock-injected synth-pop, from downtempo tropical house to jazz-infused techno adventures. Showcasing new and upcoming acts as well as artists who've previously appeared on respected labels such as Beats In Space, DC Recordings, Tummy Touch, Emotional Response, Hoga Nord, Lectric Sands, Luminous Recordings, Madwaltz, Psychic Malmo, Memphis Industries, 360 Degrees, Cocktail D'Amore, Horn Wax, Lugnet and cult "library" label Bruton we're very pleased to be able to add these people to our own roster and bring this long-awaited compilation to you. Beyond the fabled chill-out room and into the field we go...

Joe Muggs has lived and breathed 'electronic music culture' for many, many years... like a lot of us probably for more than he'd care to imagine.  From journalist and observer to active participant and curator, beyond his celebrated writing career spanning publications like The Wire, FACT, The Guardian, and his co-authorship of  Bass, Mids, Tops: An Oral History of Soundsystem Culture. Muggs has built many bridges across the worlds of the electronic and handily, for us, ambient.

Experimental, ambient, and leftfield sounds to the fore, get horizontal. Something's feeling quite full circle here.

So it is with some excitement that Joe agreed to don his ambient trousers again and step up for part 4 of the Seeds mix. "Music to Smell the Jasmine Whilst Watching for Bats in the Twilight" encapsulates what is often a poetic approach to ambient curation - clearly less about the dancefloor and more about creating an experience that enhances the environment around you.

Another new project coming on Macadam Mambo is the first release of the duo Hun Hun. 
Hun Hun are 2 young brothers from Bruxelles who are doing a very special music in an ethno-shamanic-tribal vibe pretty cinematographic. With this first opus, an album of 10 tracks, they bring us on a journey into deep, dark and mysterious atmospheres with natural backgrounds from the forest, beautiful vocals, singular percussions, and rhythms that would easily fit for intro sets at Boccacio in 1988. This album could have been easily released on Crammed Disc in the 80’s, but it has a modern touch from today that makes it a proper gem for Macadam Mambo.

Neophyte, for sure, and these are all my newly found treasures, that I have dug up from around the world.  One day I will produce some tracks again, until then, I will spend every minute listening to all the newly found gems!
