Commissioned by N's Den, who wanted a Series 6 styled theme for Duck. I don't do a lot of S6-7 stuff but they are rather interesting to work with sometimes, definitely a more classical approach during this era of the show's music. 


Around this time, a lot of the signature themes became a lot more 'smooth' and let the strings and woodwinds provide the rhythm compare to let's say Series 1-4 which still liked to use cabasas to emulate pistons or kick drums to add a punch. While not as appreciated as the shows earlier music, this style of music fits the Gullane era tone perfectly.

Probably one of the more neglected themes of the sixth series right here. I don't understand why though - it's a beautiful piece with amazing strings, and I had fun making this, too. Enjoy!

Arranged in Acoustica Mixcraft 7 using soundfonts of the E-Mu Proteus/2 Orchestral, Proteus/1 Pop Rock, and Proteus 2000 sound modules. Original theme composed by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell.
