Hospital Records heavyweight and all-round drum & bass champion Logistics is back with a fresh six-track EP that’s home to an array of sonic selections. Following his most recent EP series and remixes with the likes of salute, Fred V and DRS & Dynamite, his latest ‘Love Letters’ EP sees him delve back into the classic Hospital Records sound that he is so widely loved for, with a 2022 twist.

EP title-track ‘Love Letters’ brings out Logistics’ soulful side as lo-fi inspired chimes and a new-wave R&B style vocal cut entices you into a world of soothing sonics, juxtaposed by an electrifyingly resonant bassline.

‘Vega’ injects pure euphoria as the classic sounds of Logistics step up to the forefront. Rolling drums, organ-style synths and uplifting vocals see the decades of Logistics’ experience effortlessly translate into yet another drum & bass anthem.

‘Continuation’ steps down in tempo, with skippy drum beats, and a solemn feel throughout. Further showcasing his versatile taste and production style, this is everything you’d expect and more from a 130 BPM Logistics cut.

Sincere liquid drum & bass ballad ‘Secret Satellite’ (feat. Zoë Phillips), opens with emotive pianos and heartfelt vocal toplines which pave their way towards splashy amens and a beautifully crafted bassline. This is Logistics at his finest...

Los Angeles based duo Shanks bring two brand new records to the table for their latest output through ProgRAM, after debuting on the imprint despite remaining anonymous. Two key players within their home city's hold on electronic music, ProgRAM is where they found their home, a place standing beneath the RAM Records 30-year emblem and holding a torch for the underground sounds.

'Jealousy’ draws forward on top of trembling sonic beats and scuffling percussive sets, before driving into classic bass breakdowns. On the flip, ‘Waiting’ sets a different scene but soon follows the same direction, beginning with soft atmospherics whilst still driving the listener into the same grinding bassline surges. So once again, it’s time to get with the ProgRAM. With Shanks stepping up for another round with the drum & bass imprint.

2014 stands as a defining moment for the RAM Records imprint. Not only did it announce the pivotal signing of artists like Audio, Teddy Killerz and Bensley but they also oversaw the birth of compilation series RAMLife hosted by Loadstar. Even in its first form, it contained nearly every essential release the last twelve months had to offer. 

But this year, RAMLife is taking you into deeper and murkier dimensions. Having already flexed his production muscle on the ricocheting, four-track ‘Nil by Mouth’ EP, as well as his first visual debut in the music video for ‘Heads Up’, it’s now time for Audio to cut open and expose his musical psyche. 

Including some of the most aggressive, technically adept and prominent artists the genre has to offer, including Bad Company, Optiv & BTK and Noisia to name a few, no stone goes unturned for the album’s entirety. Audio also throws bass-fuelled bullets in the form of exclusives, with explosive VIPs that have yet to be released. 

The brand new cut ‘Foodchain’ from Audio sets a theme which is prevalent throughout all 27 tracks. Zipping through to the mechanical composition of Mefjus’ ‘Brainwork’, all the way back to Spor’s heavy-hitting ‘Bullet Time’ remix; this is a no holds barred exploration of the genre’s darker side.
