This is part 1 of a series of 3 Various Artists Compilations (I, II and III) to close the Invisible catalogue.

Thursday May 30th, Ascension Day, we confirmed that Invisible will stop releasing music. The drum & bass label was launched in 2010 as the experimental and new-talent-championing leg of our original flagship imprint Vision and multiple genre label Division.

All good things must come to an end, though. We will release three Invisible compilations with the name ‘INVISIBLE Definition’ to close the catalogue over the coming months and this is the first one. And while it seems like the end of an era, it’s actually the start of a new one. Nik and Thijs explain in an interview with UKF:

A charity fundraising album project curated by Foreign Concept & the team at Critical, featuring tracks donated by Mefjus, Emperor, Foreign Concept, Kasra, Krakota, Enei, Eastcolors, Hyroglifics and Halogenix.

In Christmas of 2013 Foreign Concept, Stray and Xtrah got their heads  together and decided that rather than let some sought after unreleased music sit idle on their hard drives they would put it to use and offer people the chance to download the tracks whilst raising money for charity. 
This year Foreign Concept has gone one step further and we at Critical have all gone through the vaults and put an album together, again for a good cause. This time we have chosen Oxfam. Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty. From saving lives and developing projects that put poor people in charge of their lives and livelihoods, to campaigning for change that lasts.


All monies go directly to the charity.
