Drawing Inspiration from London's Underground dance scene, Descendants of Sinners is a result of an ongoing, passionate desire from Dax fusing modern day Techno with the sound of classic UK rave culture. 2015 has been a big year for Dax. He's seen successful debut appearances at Berghain and Glastonbury as well as his very well received EarToGround residency with Jaded at Corsica Studios and soon his long awaited debut appearance at fabric. There is a lot more we can say about the tracks individually but instead we'll let the Techno do the talking. Tracks included are being played and supported by the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Len Faki, Par Grinvik, Luke Slater, Henning Baer, Truncate, Marcel Finger, Chris Liebing, Paul Mac and Anthony Parasole. All tracks written and produced by Dax J. Mastered by Matt (The Alchemist) Colton. Graphic design Leiras Santos.

Marco Bläsi and Luigi Urban first appeared on Matt Edwards’ label two years ago with an unforgettable remix of Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’. Since then the pair have continued to helm their From Another Mind imprint, as well as returning to Rekids for their ‘Himmel Und Erde’ release, not to mention remix the seminal ‘Grindhouse’ alongside Slam. Joining the label again, the duo present three cavernous cuts highlighting why they’re considered such a key driving force behind Southern Germany’s techno scene. 

Featuring their signature echoing kicks, ‘Der Strum’ includes syncopated snares, scintillating pads and piercing stabs to forge a peaktime cut. ‘Zeit Des Erwachens’ is more of a roller with its undulating percussion and quivering bassline, leading into the effervescent ‘Tränen Der Sonne’ with its twisted arpeggios and rattling hats.

Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from techno talent Under Black Helmet. Taken from his forthcoming debut album 'It Emerged From Nothing', 'Radiate' is a driving techno tool filled with rave energy. Radiate begins with a massive thumping kick drum and scratchy percussion, working its way to a break which then introduces a menacing and pulsing bassline that adds serious drive to the track. As things progress, percussion intensifies as an eerie pad weaves throughout the soundscape, creating an intense atmosphere suited perfectly for a warehouse or club. Radiate will be available on January 29th in vinyl and digital formats.
