After something of a hiatus Anticlockwise Music is back with a vibrant two-track instalment from an exciting newcomer to the label, Tarek. Straight from the depths of Madrid´s underground he delivers these two raw and dark neurofunk tunes “Boltzmann Brain” and “Onan” which have a distinct oldschool vibe to them.

Tarek´s productions are usually a lot harder but he has done a great job on flexing his skills for something a little different. Both of the tunes in this release include rolling drum patterns that team up with growling basslines and narcotic synths to create a wonderful trip through time and space.

“Boltzmann brains are a hypothesized self-aware entities that arise due to random fluctuations out of a state of chaos. Meaning that maybe we´re just brains that sprung out of nowhere with memories of a past life”..

Ten years deep and still levelling up. RMS & Jaybee Drum & Bass partnership was born in a freezing Chicago basement, sparked by a weekend session and a shared love of hip-hop, turntablism, and that gritty late-90s Drum & Bass flavour. Fast forward a decade, and this transatlantic tag team is rolling out not one, but two stone-cold heaters on Dispatch Recordings as part of the label’s heritage-focused 'Dispatch Blueprints' series.
