Gerra & Stone return to Dispatch to join the main label, kicking things up a notch with their “Too Deep EP” dropping this Autumn. Following the huge success of their LTD debut “Backhand / Tenfold”, the Southampton based duo continue to raise the bar. Their first full Dispatch EP features four concrete rollers; each tightly programmed, each packing a punch at the lower frequencies, injecting instant stamina into any discerning crowd.

Title track “Too Deep” swoops down with deadly fervor and venomous low ends that twist and mature throughout, whilst “Long Game” strikes with ferocity and through to the rib cage. Mid-range growls resemble heated alien discourse, as the bass grooving subtly throughout. 

Keeping the beats moody and no-nonsense, bongos lightly patter over “Lockdown” and sweet vocal washes argue with jeering and fermenting bass sounds. “Bus 54” strips to more abstract surface noises initially, but possesses a lethal edge that we have come to expect from Gerra & Stone.

The duo from Southampton are fast becoming artists to watch with material scheduled for Ram before the end of the year and another Dispatch release lined up for early 2015.

Drum & Bass nightlife operation turned label, 'Major League DNB' offers their third outing in a string of thoroughly curated releases. This time around international twosome 'Zombie Cats' make their re-appearance on the Holland based imprint. The 3rd installment 'Portal EP' in the label series opens up with a rework of 'Portal' by household 'Shogun Audio' name 'Joe Ford'. The opening track is a somewhat brutal effort that showcases 'Joe Ford's' signature high energy approach whilst cleverly re-assembling the main elements of the original. The original version of 'Portal' kicks in straight after the rework. The title track of the EP is actually a collaboration between Zombie Cats and Berlin Based 'Safra'. Whilst the rework is somewhat of a frenzy, the original effort proves to be a little more on the technoid side of things. 'Little Monsters' is not only the closing down track but also a bonafide dancefloor destroyer.

Spurring into action already this year, our Dispatch LTD imprint continues in the ethos for supporting upcoming talent, as Leeds based Cruk marks his debut on Dispatch, with the ‘Bad Faith EP’. 

Cruk comfortably incorporates dark, malignant soundscapes into his music, without losing any of the groove in the mix; ‘The Moment’ is bursting with energy, but harnessed confidently and ‘Bloodlust’ retains its swing right throughout. 

Made up of four tracks in total, the EP identifies as a selection of abrasive beats, with very intricate drum work that cleverly pools contrasting influences, giving each track a distinct identity. 

The drums in ‘Bad Faith’ are constantly developing, at first a futuristic Hybris feel, but adopting an old skool pattern at the same time, whilst ‘Shalebridge Cable’ contains both clean cut elements and raw, breaks focused styles too.

Making his mark with a strong first EP, we are proud to welcome Cruk onto Dispatch with this debut.

Alone they stood upon the roof of the world, two minds interlocked beyond the realm of their origin. Delivered into this alternate reality as separate points of consciousness, the definition of their relative distinction was for a while their only grip upon the structures of the past. Staring across the infinite horizon over the edge of their plateau, the meaning of time itself was lost in the entropy of their incarceration. In that endless expanse, the fringes of their perception eroded – stark concepts reacting and evolving in the wake of a forgotten future, bearing fresh complexity as the branches of their minds intertwined. Boundaries melted upon the shores of the present as the separation of elements lost meaning, the properties of addition relentless and timeless – towering beyond their combined mindstate.
 
Following their striking emergence onto EATBRAIN with ‘The Order’ EP in 2016, AGRESSOR BUNX tore a ragged furrow through the year with their rapid rise to the apex of the drum & bass sphere, with releases on Blackout, Trendkill, Bad Taste and Program. With the duo featuring heavily at Eatbrain live shows, they’ve seared their sound deep into the hearts of the label’s massive crew and quickly become embedded in the core of their aesthetic. 2017 brings the release of the Ukrainian pair’s first LP on Eatbrain in the form of the PROPERTIES OF ADDITION LP, which delivers an array of the kind of cutting-edge diverse and heavy-hitting forms of drum & bass that fans of both the Agressor Bunx have come to expect. The signal had flickered into existence without warning, a sudden complex sequence that almost filled the awaiting databanks within moments and laid out an array of schematics beyond comprehension. For years they labored, first to understand and then to build the machine it described, a craft that could finally escape the outermost reaches of the solar system and carry a single human beyond the limits of their star, to the point of the signal’s source. They picked the passenger with care - their most capable pilot, linguist and scientist, ascribed beyond the limits of fear through overwhelming curiosity… The journey was swift, covering that most immeasurable of distances in human terms within days. As he drew close to the origin, far from the sun and beyond the influence of the system, it appeared as a speck in the distance but quickly grew into a sight of overwhelming complexity, a vast silent ship, and static in the darkness, blotting out the light of distant stars. As the shuttle drew close, it shuddered into life, internal lights hesitating before firmly illuminating and colossal vents purged gases into the yawning nothingness of space. The vessels nestled together, extending appendages and exchanging code. With a sigh the airlock opened and sequential lighting ushered him within the vacant hulk, a faint trembling of power running through the hull and beneath his feet. He entered the endless chamber with wide pupils, so big that it receded into blackness, the overwhelming mechanism before him filling his vision – a vast sphere engineered to an impossible configuration… a pathway to the stars… the WARP DRIVE.

MALUX is an artist who surged into the drum & bass sphere suddenly in 2016, delivering a tight selection of releases on some of the leading labels in the genre and making his mark on the European live scene with rapid success. With the release of his WARP DRIVE EP on the label at the epitome of the neurofunk scene, EATBRAIN, 2017 sees him firmly open up a new horizon with a selection of 5 powerful tracks designed to utterly atomise the dance. Including his trademark tear-out sound in IGNITION, the swift-paced syncopated vibe of MODULUS and the extraordinarily crafted destruction of title track WARP DRIVE, as well a powerful 2 stepper in collaboration with ERB N DUB and legend CRISSY CRISS.
