Motus” and Violin Concerto in F minor, RV 297 “Winter” are distant cousins — both born from the same language of notes, yet worlds apart in character. And yet, in Latin, Motus means movement, flow — like water that carries both the familiar and the unknown. In this piece, I invite you on a musical journey where these seemingly different worlds drift together, merging into something unexpected. It’s not an easy path to imagine at first, but one that reveals its coherence through motion, persistence, and sound.
