We started writing this song for the Canadian Songwriter Contest as a way of reconnecting as old friends who have lost touch and ended up winning the contest!  
While we all feel a sense of helplessness during this pandemic, we wanted to inspire some hope and encourage people to come together as a community to support one another. We may not be in the same boat but we’re all in the same storm.
