Maryel Sparks-Cardinal, AKA Ember Sparxx, is a Cree/Métis music producer and DJ. Born and raised in Treaty 6 territories, Ember uses her roots as inspiration for her music and artistic expression. Always a crowd favorite, Ember has performed at music festivals, including Ignite The Arts Festivals and Indie Fest. Ember has played at numerous venues throughout Vancouver, BC, including iconic music venues such as The Fox Cabaret, The Waldorf, and The Astoria. Ember co-created The Universal Artists Collective, which hosts a wide range of International artists and musicians from various fields. Their mandate is to further artistic aspirations by providing support, creative inspiration, and artistic skill exchange.

Ember's music embodies a fusion of minimalism, weighty beats, and captivating melodies, predominantly within the realm of house music. However, her artistic vision extends beyond genre boundaries, incorporating diverse influences. Her DJ mixes take you on a journey through electronic music’s most innovative sounds, all while ensuring you're fully immersed in an experience where the dancing never stops.

A multidisciplinary artist by trade, with experience as a videographer, filmmaker, photographer, writer, and UX designer, Maryel uses her various skills and ingenuity to bring a fresh and inventive sound to her music.

Born an rasied in Brooklyn Ny, this young man had a earn for music. A love that only those whom live music know. At the age of 8, watching his cousin on two turntables and hearing the sounds and creativty that was being made he had to get his fingers on it . As time went on he taught himself on the art of Djing. Now he has been creating his own sounds and making people dance an be amazed by his creativty. From the West Indies, Parts of Europe, He has touched and inspired. From big name clubs from east to west to cruise liners such as RCCL and in store such  place like Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave, Oakley, Lilly Pulitzer, & H&M.
