It's my passion to make quality songs using all resources available to me. As a music enthusiast I'm interested in many different genres. 

My music production process is a blend of traditional songwriting and cutting-edge AI. 

It all starts with the human touch: I craft the lyrics and song structures myself, sometimes accompanied by music I recorded or composed.

From these foundational elements, I then bring the songs to life using synthetic voices and musicians. 

A key aspect of my creative flow is "jamming" with what I call "personas", distinct AI voices and styles that offer consistent character and sound. 

My roots in music stretch back to the 1970s, when I was a drummer boy in the local harmony. 

The 1990s marked a pivotal moment with the advent of MIDI, opening up new avenues for instrumental composition. 

The early 2000s saw me dive deep into Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), and during that time, I also picked up the guitar. 

Since 2024, integrating AI into my workflow has been a transformative experience. 

It has unlocked unprecedented creative possibilities, providing access to a vast array of virtuoso vocalists and instruments, from intricate acoustic guitar arrangements to full orchestras.

She also created Sound Vault, a boutique instrumental catalog perfect for chill, romantic, zen, and cinematic moods, ideal for licensing, background scores, and mindfulness playlists.

In addition to her music ventures, Melinda owns Melinda Mercer Photography Inc., a successful photography brand focused on lifestyle, event, and portrait work. Based in Spanish Fort, Alabama, Melinda continues to mentor artists, develop bold music concepts, and deliver creative media that uplifts and inspires.

I've been chasing sound since the day I ran away from home. 
While most kids were in school, I was digging through crates in record stores - learning rhythm, rebellion, and the raw truth music could carry. By 13, I was sleeping in nightclubs. By 15, I was behind the decks, DJ-ing to survive and to feel something real.

In the 1980's, I became part of Belgium's early electronic wave - spinning vinyl before it was a scene.

But life, as it does, took me away from the spotlight. Still, the music never stopped playing in me.

Now, after all these years, I'm back. Producing my own tracks. No rules, no formulas - just decades of sound, scars, and soul poured into every beat.
