For our fourteenth installement we've invited Noah Lyas, an artist passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.

Malii grew up in a house where music was always on because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.

DJ Yazi is an original member and DJ of "Think Tank," a group of menacing black smoke collective that continues to pour out high-purity deep trip music, and the resident DJ of El Nino, the organizer of "Black Smoker Records”. He is a man who is trusted for his ability to manipulate a variety of genres and color the floor with his own unique style. He hosts the techno/industrial-based event "Konvektion" with Takaaki Itoh.

He has also provided mixes for world-class platforms such as Bassiani, Dimensions, CrackMagazine, and Dekmantel.

With a strong focus on the scene, he has been expanding his activities not only in Japan but also in Europe and internationally, and has been shaking up various late nights with beautiful colors in the twilight of the night.

As a mainstay of techno for over two decades, Cio D'Or has consistently pushed boundaries, gracing the decks of revered institutions worldwide and crafting a legendary discography with releases on Prologue, Semantica, Hypnus, Time to Express and more. 

Across both mixes you will hear Cio’s unparalleled ability for sculpting minimalism and sonic architecture, masterfully recontextualizing familiar and obscure tracks alike, breathing new life into them and unveiling hidden dimensions. She dissects, reassembles and creates intricate connections between disparate sounds, all flawlessly executed with an alchemist’s touch.

Prisma 33 starts at a slower tempo, delicately building into an eruption of psychedelic minimalism. 🧥 Oldman Steptoe’s Tape Diary: Entry #44 — “Remi’s Crawl (Revised)”
It begins with a whisper that shouldn’t be there. Remi’s voice, reversed and stretched, floats over a pad like fog rolling through a derelict playground. The melody—Gb to Eb, F to D, Ab to F, G to E—feels like someone tracing the outline of a memory they’re trying to forget. It loops again, but this time the bass doubles, and a hi-hat ticks like a warning.

Then the chords arrive.

Not chords, really—clusters. Eight-note slabs of chromatic tension. G♯ to G, stacked like bricks in a wall that doesn’t care if you climb it. Then D♯ to B, jagged and restless. Then G to E♭ to E, like a scream folded into origami. Every 16 bars, another synth joins the procession, each one colder than the last. It’s not harmony—it’s architecture. A cathedral built from unresolved grief.

At bar 65, the world drops out. Just the pad again. But now there are children laughing. Playing. It’s not comforting. It’s a memory you didn’t make, but somehow still remember.

Then the final crawl begins. From bar 81 to 161, the same chord clusters repeat like a ritual. Every 16 bars, a new synth layer is added—each one heavier, more suffocating. Around bar 129, the fade begins. But it’s not a fade-out. It’s a burial. The music doesn’t end—it’s swallowed.

By the time it’s over, you’re not sure if you heard a song or survived one.
