Toronto's Gregory "Lowfish" De Rocher survived a childhood hearing problem and the demise of Canadian manufactured 12" vinyl ( a costly complication for his and partner Jason Amm's Suction Label) De Rocher brings his accessible breed of electro to his new Satamile LP, steeped more in dubby, early detroit beat structures ("Torsion") and catchy, big room synth overlays ("Wahawa") than the lean, techno driven styles of other electro greats like Anthony Rother. Which does not render these cuts any less enjoyable: "Bitter," one of Burns's leanest tracks, delivers an electro masterpiece by locking a minimal 3/4 electro baseline into rhythmic nirvana with a simple wee-eeeer melody. Its all expertly produced stuff, made for kicking up your 2 a.m. DJ set a notch or two.

"new School" and built from the DNA of early IDM and new wave. The weapons of choice are what they have been from teh start semi-operational analog synthesizers, temperamental ,  Tr drum machines and scratchy recording gear all forced into the computer. The name  Lowfish came from the concept of using mostly low quality equipment, the result being a production sound that is low-fi- ish. Since 1995 Lowfish has released 4 full lenght CD's/ Lp's and a stack of 12" singles on labels including Suction, Ersatz Audio, Clone and Satamile. He's remixed for labels including Morr Music, Ghostly International and even the National Film board fo Canada and has released scores of trracks on compilations for respected labels in the UK, Germany, Belgium and the US.

Why are there not more electroclash tracks made these days, you ask yourself? 
Well ask no more because Lunatic Records have dropped a track which comes straight from the most scenesterist of scenes, nasty analogue vibes clash with a killer beat, those distant distorted vocals which allow for just enough disorientation on the dancefloor. 
The EP veers into the industrial techno realm which is fine by us! En Direct's first solo foray into production reminds us of DJ Hell, Tiga, Miss Kittin and all the other classic tracks from between 2001-05 without ever swaying into cliche or pastiche or any other of those French words which as simply a byword for 'Passe'. Lunatic Records 6th release truly is the number of the beast. Do your self a favour, don't be unwilling.

Aspecto Humano have the chance to present this time the first LP on their own catalogue. The vinyl is in charge of TEMPLEBEAT, Italian group now extinct which moved between EBM and Industrial. The formation created in 1990, is part of the self-named second generation of EBM groups.

Aspecto Humano has rescue this authentic lost treasure from music genre titled: INTERZONE. Originally published on cassette in 1992 by the label, also Italian, Energeia.

Edition of 300 copies, 140gr black vinyl in white polylined innersleeve, and printed outersleeve.

B4 Drugs [No Vox]

Voices inside is a discovery within that begins with the vocals taking us from the now to the past and this stands true to the lyrics. This aptly named track moves from an 80’s synth-pop pad leading its way towards the emergence of an old school electro tom’s rolling its way to create the melody largely constructed synonymously with the drum programming that transcends its way to become a composition that grows into you before you know.

We are happy to welcome “@Notananimalrecords” label back again and this time with the English duo “Jamie Blanco & Chris stoker” aka “@Esso-Ess” releases their single-track EP which contains 2 versions (English & French) and 3 remixes from label boss Craig Richards himself, Backwoods and Pink language.

We are taken to another dimension ruled by the Keyboard Freaks, where robots roam the land with their destructive, futuristic electro-bass.

The five-track EP is filled with bass-heavy jams that vary from bongo-basslines to acid-fuelled angry cyborgs made predominately from the MC505, giving a nod to iconic grooved-out electro-funk to rock sound systems across the galaxy.
