My music is a mixture of old and new styles, leaning into the electro-alternative genre. It incorporates an equal mix of vocals, guitar, synth, bass and electronic drums. Song writing also plays a crucial roll with each composition as I attempt to marry words to music.

this music is a blend of intricate, experimental beats and dark, atmospheric soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the chaotic yet harmonious rhythms of nature and the abstract patterns of the mind, the project seeks to create a deep, introspective experience. The fusion of high-energy basslines, distorted synths, and complex percussive elements forms the core, aiming to transcend the traditional confines of psy trance and delve into uncharted sonic territories.

OK my studio is beginning to take shape most of my gear is all connected and ready to Jam.
For now I will mostly record live jams as only got a two in audio interface.

In my previous life: 
This Channel is dedicated to Music I make on my iPhone 
I plan to primarily use it for music composed using NanoStudio, an iPhone music app with a really cool touch sequencer, a four part analogue style synthesiser and a drum machine/ sampler and best of all NanoStudio lets you load your music directly into SoundCloud.

Later on I am hoping to give a few more iPhone apps a go like technoBox, ReBirth, BeatMaker, Jasuto, Moog Filtertron, iceGear Argon, Randgrid, BeBoot, NLog  & Bloom.

The magic for me is the ability to make music while chilling on my sofa on a Friday evening without having to go up to my fully equipped studio in my Loft, but if I am not to lazy I may do some recordings of two iPhones at the same time so can have one running NanoStudio and improvise on the second using BeBoot or NLog and maybe even find a use for TouchOSC (Open Sound Control messages – over Wyfi).

And if anyone wants to by me an iPad then the Korg iMS-20 and iElectribe (:

Since 1996, I, Parasite has been making aggressive, atmospheric electronic-rock sounds. Formed in New York City, co-founders Justin Butts and Christopher Jon released their debut Turin on a small indie label. After parting ways in 2001, Chris went on to release On This Cold Floor (2003) on his own DARKVISIONMEDIA label. The album received critical acclaim and led to Chris working with producer Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat), contributing synth and noise textures to the Cradle Of Filth album, Thornography.

I, Parasite's third full length album The Sick Are Not Healing, was released near the end of 2009, again on DARKVISIONMEDIA. The album featured a guest appearance by Caggiano on the song "The Stone Doctor." I, Parasite played numerous shows with an assortment of metal and harsh-electronic bands (including Amenra, A Storm Of Light, Surachai, Prometheus Burning, and Hecate) to support the album.

In 2011 Chris relocated to Los Angeles, and is currently working on I, Parasite's fourth album, Österlanden.
