Every musician has his technics when we have a lack of inspiration. Personally, I always thought that music comes from silence, so when I can't make any music, I find a quiet place, sit down, and wait for the music to come to me. I did that once, in my garden, and then those tiny bells appeared. When I heard it perfectly, I ran to my studio to write it down. It reminded me of a snowflake's purity by his sonority, and it's way to dance with the wind by his groove. "Flocon de Neige" was born… I hope you will like it !"

Cruise lines used in Helsinki is happy to express waste water removal service. This summer, from cruise ships to nearly 80 per cent failed to discharge their effluent into the harbor.

Total waste water has reached the place of the Baltic Sea Helsinki hoteisiin more than 41 million liters, the Port of Helsinki says in a statement.

In their never-ending search for new textures and tones to work with, Shapeshifter has never been shy about drawing in new friends and frequencies to expand their sound palette.

Now, for their latest bass odyssey, they’ve called upon the multihued beat making talents of "funkadelic bass music proponent, Opiuo, to cook up the Slug A Bug EP.

On Slug A Bug’s title track, Shapeshifter and Opiuo mash up a dirty bassline, mozzie-like synth stabs, soul claps, squelching keys and a wailing guitar riff – all set ablaze by the unmistakable voice of P-Diggsss. And B-siding the EP is ‘Warehouse Be Like’, a choppy roof-raising party starter, again featuring Diggsss, which oozes fun.

This isn’t the first time Shapeshifter has crossed paths with ex-pat Kiwi bass fiend, Opiuo; he previously turned in a deliciously fruity remix of their track ‘Monarch’, plus a supremely bass-heavy take on ‘Longest Day’. They’re also touring bros, having linked for a 2013/2014 summer run through crucial North Island destinations.

The Slug A Bug EP though is their first true musical meeting of minds, a collaboration that carves out space between Shapeshifter’s speaker-rattling bass adventures and Opiuo’s funk-fuelled glitch.

In 1981, BBC Radio 1 DJ Tommy Vance saw Kraftwerk play the opening night of their 'Computer World' tour in Manchester, England. Afterwards he interviewed Ralf Hutter for his Friday Rock Show and managed to get quite a revealing response, including some uncharacteristic humour. I've edited out the music as tastefully as I can and cleaned up the audio but the quality isn't great to begin with.
