Roumi est un artiste bercé depuis sa plus tendre enfance par la musique. Ses diverses  influences telles que James Brown, Mickael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Elton John mais aussi Tryo, Diam’s, I am, 113 ou encore Jean Jacques Goldman, l’ont amené à vouloir écrire et interpréter ses propres chansons. Se laissant porter par des airs ou des mélodies qu’il s’approprie, Roumi exprime sur le papier et en studio une large palette d’émotions. 

Une enfance heureuse mais perturbée par son adoption et une adolescence en région parisienne lui ont inspiré des textes qu’il met en chanson sur son premier album « Sur ma Comète » sorti en 2015.

Plus apaisé mais toujours en accord avec ses valeurs, Roumi continue d’écrire sans relâche sur des tranches de vie vécues ou côtoyées qui lui inspirent des textes emprunts de rêves d’évasion et de vérité .

En 2020, il orchestre 11 titres sur un album qu’il nomme «Roumizland ». Il s’agit là d’une invitation dans son univers musical varié et réalisé avec l’envie de transmettre et de partager ses chansons à un auditoire qui pourra se reconnaître au travers des différents titres qu’il propose.

Roumi is an artist rocked since his earliest childhood by music. His various influences such as James Brown, Mickael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Elton John but also Tryo, Diam’s, I am, 113 or even Jean Jacques Goldman, led him to want to write and perform his own songs. Letting himself be carried away by airs or melodies that he appropriates, Roumi expresses a wide range of emotions on paper and in the studio.

A happy childhood but disturbed by his adoption and adolescence in the Paris region inspired him to write lyrics on his first album "Sur ma Comète" released in 2015.

More peaceful but still in line with his values, Roumi continues to write tirelessly on slices of life lived or surrounded by which inspire him texts borrowed from dreams of escape and truth.

In 2020, he orchestrates 11 tracks on an album he calls "Roumizland". This is an invitation into his varied musical universe and made with the desire to transmit and share his songs to an audience that will be able to recognize themselves through the different titles he offers.
