Ignition Technician is a techno production team from Leeds, consisting of Richard Wilkinson and Pete Simpson.

In 1999, Carl Cox was one of the first to discover them and played early productions on dubplates. Soon other DJs such as Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Joey Beltram, Billy Nasty, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Jon Peel and Colin Murry also played their records, which temporarily pushed them into the MTV dancefloor charts and brought them appearances on BBC Radio One.

Wilkinson is the owner of the labels Pirate Audio, Notorious North and Dj Special Needs. Together with Jon Nuccle and Mark Turner, he is also a shareholder in the label Player. Together with his studio partner Pete Simpson, he has already released over 150 records, including on numerous other labels such as Primate, Tortured, Tronic, Potential, Fine Audio, TechnoPassion and Planet Rhythm.

Ignition Technician has worked with numerous producers such as The Advent, Space DJ's, Angel Alanis, Glenn Wilson, Cave, Marko Nastic, Jel Ford, DJ Bam Bam, DJ Urban, Rino Cerrone, Mark Antonio, Mike Humphries, Trevor Rockcliffe, DJ Preach and DJ Misjah.

Ignition Technician has already played in Europe and toured Japan, Australia, Brazil and the USA.

Lawrence Dunster, better known by his pseudonym Pounding Grooves, is a London techno artist. He has also released under a number of other names such as Lawrie Immersion and Crusty Mills.

Dunster's music career began at the age of 16 as a guitarist and songwriter in several bands with which he toured all over Europe. However, he increasingly turned to electronic music and released his first techno records in the mid-90s. The success of his releases made him a sought-after DJ and live act worldwide.

Dunster has already released over 150 records, both on his own labels Pounding Grooves, Routemaster Records, Patten Play, Fresh Grind, Shark and Fukt, but also on numerous others such as Fine Audio Recordings, Planet Rhythm, Tortured, CLR, Countdown 2000, TechnoPassion, SUF, Subvert, Max/Min, Hydraulix, Smitten and Compressed. He made remixes for well-known artists such as DJ Rush, Michael Burkat, Digital Primate, D.A.V.E. The Drummer and Steve Stoll.

In 2000 he founded the mastering studio Curve Pusher and a year later the vinyl pressing plant Curved Pressings.
