As spring once again takes a hold and invigorates us all, Total Science's CIA imprint is doing the same. The next release on the infamous label sees it's owners team up with long time collaborators Quadrant, Iris and Kid Hops for two slices of razor sharp breaks, hench bass and killer hooks.

First up to the plate sees Total Science themselves, alongside Seattle natives Quadrant & Iris with the killer 'Pushin Your Luck'. Expertly layered breaks aligned with floating synth lines and a dubbed out vocal soon drop out to an excellently executed bassline. This one is huge - held back enough for the heads, but with such a cool bass hook, the whole club is sure to be feeling it.

A soulful deejay and spiritual dancer.

Rhobodub worked at the first Ukrainian vinyl shop Diskultura and was a part of the Kyiv house scene. Then Thommy moved to L’viv where became a member of the Hypnohouse parties. For his career, Rhobodub performed in 14 countries.

Nowadays, Thommy lives in Chernivtsi—the most architecturally graceful city in Ukraine—manages the Hustlers community and floats down through various dimensions of music: deep, minimal, afro, soulful and funky house; deep, dub, minimal tech house and techno; techstep, dubwise, liquid and soulful drum & bass; minimal dub, digital dancehall, roots reggae, etc.

Iris was introduced to electronic music at age 13, when she first heard “Insomnia” by Faithless on Seattle’s C89.5. Since then, her love affair with the music has only intensified as she has honed a diverse set of tastes and an equally exacting repertoire of skills behind the decks. Her journey has taken her from UK Hard House, into the sounds of Trance and Progressive, finally culminating in her current focus of Deep Drum and Bass, Techno.

Iris has been collaborating on original productions with DnB veteran Quadrant. Their first tune, Anthropocene, was spotted immediately by none other than Goldie himself, and snapped up for the Metalheadz Genesis EP volume 4. Other collaborations, with Quadrant and local legend Kid Hops, have been picked up and supported by Total Science for their CIA imprint, as well as Hospital Recordings, Dispatch and Commercial Suicide.

With an ever growing arsenal of original productions, a host of exclusive tunes from the hottest producers around the world, all held down by meticulous mixing and track selection, Iris is a force to be reckoned with.
