I was born and raise on Chicago's South side surrounded by music. by the time i came conscious of the gifts my mother and father possessed, music had become more than life. Both of my parents were very popular around town as jazz musicians. At the age of five after being exposed to my mothers heart retching professional singing and musical talents, and the thirst in my fathers mouth to help influence music within the home of four children, it was inevitable that my household would thrive toward a career in the music world. I was first introduced to the trumpet by my father, and at the same time the piano. Singing was a gift which came naturally since my mother was the singing bird on Chicago's South side, performing with a jazz orchestra in many of Chicago's popular night clubs. My father has a musical genius hands down. He played countless instruments and mastered everyone of them, including the piano. All of my siblings were multi-talented, and we all crowed around the record player to listen and learn the unique techniques of the Jackson 5, James Brown, And all of Motown Records. My mother recorded her own first hot 45 jazz record which put me on a road to no return. I signed with various major record labels. I recorded albums with groups as the male lead singer on all record labels not to mention Motown and Epic Records. With all of the rough edges that go along with being involved with the signing of contracts with record companies, and all of the excitement only to led to disappointment, i have never lost the drive nor the hope that i developed as a  child from the influence of both my parents. And so today i am guided by the force and the gift of my mother and father to be the talent which i was born to be.
