For Immediate Release: Kandiman & Liondub set out on a musical Journey over a decade ago and are now proud to present a Reggae & Dub LP that has all the quality, musicality and substance of classical Jamaican Roots & Culture music at its finest. 
	
Kandiman, a singer-songwriter hailing from Spanish Town, has a brilliant voice reminiscent of the great foundation Jamaican singers, and a powerful, conscious message. His history includes working with legends including Augustus Pablo, Winston Riley, Peter Tosh and a who’s who of artists have contributed to his productions on his own Sweet Beat and Cronick labels. 	
	
Liondub, an icon of the International Dancehall Reggae / Jungle Drum & Bass world provides unique song writing, production & dub mixing on the album from his base in New York and in studios across Kingston. Brilliant instrumentation from Reggae legends like Gladstone Anderson, Dean Frasier, Bo Pee, Obeah, Sticky, Kirk Bennet, Fonso and many more make this LP rich, moving and meaningful.  For these reasons it will undoubtedly stand the test of time. This is authentic, conscious modern Roots Reggae & Dub music for the masses.

A progressive bass culture collective out of Australia, Iron Gate Sound has been a mainstay of Sydney’s reggae-dancehall scene since 2012. The brainchild of Flip and Gilsun, the collective has dropped a steady stream of mixtapes and independently released music under its Iron Gate Records label which they founded in 2014.
 
Working with dub, reggae, dancehall and grime artists from Jamaica and Europe, Iron Gate Records has always maintained a connection to roots even as it has sought to develop, reinterpret and innovate new sounds.
 
In 2014, Flip and Gilsun worked with some of Jamaica’s finest vocalists, including Sizzla and Lutan Fyah on Lion Inna Den Riddim and collaborated with Addis Pablo and Suns of Dub on the Jah Jah Solve Dem EP.
 
Between 2015 and 2018, Iron Gate Sound released a steady stream of mixtapes including Dubplate Mashdown and Dubs Fi Di Road – the first 100% dubplate mix out of Australia.
 
In 2019 Sydney-based music producer Kid Fiction joined Iron Gate Sound, bringing his unique texture-focused electronic music production to the collective. Iron Gate Sound has recently delivered a burst of releases featuring appearances by Manga Saint Hilare, Shanique Marie, Chiedu Oraka, RTKAL, Fikir Amlak and Jamaican dub poet Michael St. George.
