L Nix, one of the masterminds behind Iron Shirt Recordings, returns with his most ambitious project to date, the highly anticipated Simulation LP. Hailing from Nelson, BC, Canada, L Nix has been producing music since 2005 and immersed fully into dubstep by 2008. Over nearly two decades, he has established himself with forward-thinking sound design, and a steadfast commitment to the 140 ethos. As both an artist and label head, his vision continues to preserve and evolve the darker, more spacious side of the genre.

Spanning 16 tracks, Simulation LP embodies that vision with precision. L Nix weaves spacious drums, haunting melodic textures, and gritty reese basslines into a cohesive and immersive journey. The project captures the essence of deep, dark dubstep while pushing it into new territory. Adding further depth, the album includes three heavyweight remixes. New Zealand's Victim injects fresh energy into the 140 sound with a bold reinterpretation of Solace. Dubstep pioneer Leon Switch delivers a devastating rework of Tough It Out, showcasing his legendary touch. Lysergene, fresh off his Outer Worlds LP on ISR, transforms Husky into an otherworldly experience.

With its expansive tracklist, carefully curated remixes, and uncompromising sound design, Simulation LP stands as a milestone release for both L Nix and Iron Shirt Recordings.

With a foundation in performance and formal classical music, IN2IT stepped into the electronic music scene in the early 2000s as both a DJ and music producer. His passion for rhythm, dance, and sound led him to purchase a sound system at just 23 and begin hosting renegade forest parties—sparking a lifelong devotion to music and associated gatherings.

Now living on the unceded ancestral lands of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, Secwepemc peoples, IN2IT continues to channel that same fire. As co-owner of North Lake Sound, he carries forward the spirit of those early gatherings. He has continued to progress and sharpen his music production and DJ skills over the years. He plays at a variety of British Columbia rave and dance events, and is proud to have played at Shambhala Music Festival's Village Stage in 2024 and 2025.

His sets move through a wide spectrum of dance music, with a sharp and soulful focus on DnB and Jungle. For him mixing is storytelling, promotion, and self-care - a way to share the artists and tracks he loves most, and a ritual that feels as much like therapy as it does celebration.
