Mattew Jay and Devid Dega team up for their debut outing on Transmit, with two sleek, chrome-plated offerings.&nbsp; The title track sets the cavernous mood with extra-mangled, pitched-down vocals and a driving rhythm section, while the rumbling sub bass ensures maximum impact. &#8220;Big Knob&#8221; picks up from there with its more reverb-heavy approach and slightly subliminal vibe, allowing distorted snippets and even more low-end antics to take control and engulf everything in its path.

refused. welcomes back a product of Spain’s thriving minimal techno scene, Loui Fernandez with a fresh new EP titled “Lince.” The release is equipped with three dynamic minimal tracks that ooze acidy synth lines that are paired with melting, fluid chords and basslines. The tracks Corral, Lince, and Liquid all possess Loui Fernandez’s style based on acid and underground sounds combined with total harmony dedicated exclusively to the dancefloor. 

The first track off Lince titled “Corral” is Loui Fernandez’s dominant acid house track on this EP. Alluring synth chords consistently move the track along while the volume grows in and out adding intrigue and depth. As the energy grows steadily from beginning to end, a humble kick builds the groove to keep the movement flowing. The title track “Lince” starts in much more abruptly with a very deep, permeating kick. Dark demonic breaths introduce the tracks infectious groove while delayed claps and sizzling high’s set the pace. Lastly, “Liquid” incorporates high pitched synth chords that will signal you onto the dance floor. Paired with a fluid, smooth bassline, Liquid explores juxtaposition between acid house and minimal techno.

The label that is often being played in any club's peak time, once again remain loyal to its colorful and heterogenous concept of releasing music that can fit any time, any where. Juan Ddd and Celic's powerful 'The Mask-Primitive Day' ep is a perfect example. How many times did you find yourselves on a dance floor, listening to DJ's who are struggling with their Repertoire, trying to find the right tools to accelerate their sets and the mood? Well, some can certainly stop looking. 'The Mask' doesn't only use motor sounds. It also adapts this motive and many others in the track for that specific moment when the mood is ready for a different energy. Then, when this task is completed, comes 'Primitive Day' and completes job. The transition was successful. The dance floor is ecstatic, the night can begin!

The return of Michael Klein was imminent. Considering the magnitude of his last offering, the „Drawing EP“, it was only a matter of time before he returned with another stellar parcel of forward thinking dance floor bombshells. With his latest contribution ‚Metals EP’, Michael presents four stunning numbers displaying not only his trademark sound, but his evolution and range as a highly promising new artist.
The expedition kicks off with „Silver“ and with it a lush presentation of the perfect balance between thrust and elation. While a persistent rush of momentum keeps the pace, slow yet infectious rises and vast ethereal cries of spacious flickers set the stage for a cosmic ride reminiscent of indigenous settings with boundless, star lit skies.
Following suit on the A side sees Michael return to his approach heard on his last EP. Somewhere between the traditional fundamentals and the future stylings of the most distinguished techno lies „Opaque“. With incredible force and exuberance, Klein delivers off kilter grooves that create a contagious, sweat laden exhilaration, nothing short of pure warehouse bliss.
Kicking off the B side is „Outer Shell“ and it is by far the most emotional and cosmic of all the tunes. Opulent melodics construct beams of radiant light found only in the outer reaches of deep space as flashes of meteoric rises and low bursts of impetus propel the auditor into a never-ending journey into a place where time and space cease to exist.
Wrapping things up is a slow burner entitled „Dura 2 feat. aGhost“. A tune that can be played fast or at the slower original speed, it's a beautiful demonstration of resistance and inflection. As chants of a mysterious female fill the room, shimmers of lavish chimes circle slowly to secure an impassioned sentiment of sorrow, excitement and desire.
To compliment the beauty of 'Dura 2' we've enrolled the services of Roman Lindau to put his spin on the original. With just a few elements Lindau expertly creates a monster of a dance floor stormer. As the bassline continually grows and shrinks with a simple but highly effective four to the floor groove, the excitement swells as short stabs of vocals entice the crowd to peaking trepidation.
