Tribal Steps Vol. 2 is a sequel of an ancient story which flows in us since the beginning of time. This is a story about invoking the entelechy of our ancestors for guidance so that humankind can evolve in their destined path. The soundtrack of the "archaic revival" is calling to us - perfectly balanced between organic and electronic forms of sound, channeling the ancient notion of interconnectedness with nature, as well as a contemporary psychedelic approach to dance music. Musicians from all over the world got together to express the melody which is singing in their souls, reverberating through the vast channels of collective consciousness. This is an adventurous journey through various tempos, styles, and melodies, but there is an everlasting and unifying force at the core of this release - love.

The Age of GEMINI 6000-8000 years ago: The Age of Gemini ruled from 6000 till 4000 years BC. This was the time the first settlements started turning into cities and trade between different people of the world started appearing. As you know Gemini is a sign of trade, exchange, communications, connections. Infrastructures between different cultures based on exchange of trade and information appeared. (or shall we say-reappeared after downfall of Atlantis). Humans discovered the written word again and "reinvented" writing. At first it was rudimentary glyphs but then it became more and more complicated. The first written records date from then.

Gemini also rules skills and arts: people started developing and using more and more skills,crafts, arts. The reasoning, practical and logical abilities of humans were become more pronounced, but with the need for use of the left rational brain, the right, intuitive one started to loose its power-telepathic and psychic abilities started to be substituted with practical ones. Humans needed just this, at that stage! It was the descending age-from Spirit into Matter, we had to loose contact with the Higher Worlds in order to develop our individual thinking processes and not just be like the instinctual animals, which follow the dictated of their Group Soul Spirit.

It’s his second full length release and first within this style and tempo range, highlighting a change in pace for the derotonin project. Playful and energetic, this release ventures toward the deep dancefloor while maintaining the unmistakable sound of earlier derotonin releases. Hybridised in its style, the album is part tech, part prog and encompasses a full spectrum of the artist’s creative process triggers and musical motivations. Driving, psychedelic and packed with intricate sound design, each track aims to build tension over sustained periods, taking the listener on a journey while dodging overly predictable song structures. «Motion Trickness» by derotonin promises to be a refreshing addition to the dance floor. The composition of this Far & Off album began after on long period of detachment and isolation. 

This modern life we lead tends to saturate many of us with information, constant stimuli of all kinds and shatter time, as if we lived in small sequences. Some of us content themselves with that, some manage to regulate or tighten the flow, others collapse or pretend not to. 

I guess I'm not the only one to ever feel the need to fly away, remove myself from the ongoing swirl and purely vanish. 
It wasn’t a matter of waking up with a sudden urge, it built up, slowly, between the lines, it wasn’t caused by any philosophical, spiritual or religious belief either. It simply became a natural answer to the surrounding frenzy. 

To be on my own, far, in another context, without technology, an act of protection. Taste real solitude, a state in which no one else exists; cross the line, change rhythm and feel the passing of time. 
This is what I am sharing with you now, with keys and sounds, pads and patterns, glitches and drums. My desire was to compose contrasted tales, to bring light on the paradox, from one extreme to the other, harshness to tranquility. 

Mihalis, as he encountered a similar situation was keen on putting those emotions into music and the perfect partner as it turned out.
