Haven't uploaded anything in AGES so I figured I'd share this new tone I've been digging! It's the Uberschall model in the Axe-FX II with one of the new UltraRes IRs!

PTH Scurrilous-ish Tone

Just a wee clip of my Axe Fx II running Quantum 2.0 firmware. The model is Euro Uber (Bogner Uberschall) and the IR is from the Ownhammer 412 BOG-ST library. An excellent combination I think! The riff is from Omega by Periphery.

Drum N Bass N Guitar

Just a fat 5150 tone that I dialed in on my Axe FX! This was recorded before v10 firmware, with the v9 modelling.

So I decided to dial in a stereotypical "djent" tone the other day, you know, the one that everybody uses. And it appears to work rather well in the context of a mix! I decided to record this riff as it ended up sounding pretty close to the tone on Veil of Maya's Eclipse.

Just messing around with the Axe FX II stock presets and getting some really cool and atmospheric sounds. This is probably gonna be the intro to a spooky, black metal influenced track I'm working on!

Just been messing around with lead tones on my Axe FX and came up with this nice, atmospheric kind of lead patch! The lead I am playing is the first solo from Have A Blast by Periphery,
