Medical science-tech has extended the life expectancy of the current Gen Alpha by 15-20  years. A.I multi-sensory immersion therapies and body mods, ‘sentient’ nano-tattoos, identity/ideology altering surgeries and psychosomatic medicine  has revolutionised humanity’s psychic landscape  but the body, by its very nature and core, tends toward entropy.

Enter CYTOXCIS: a sprawling, underground medical metropolis engaged in psycho-body-spiritual transcendence programs for those whose lives are on the brink of total collapse, disoriented and deteriorated by the perilous realities of this mortal coil, of a world and her bodies trapped in constant hyper socio-politico-spiritual crises, of flesh paying the price of obsessions. 

CYTOXCIS  is memory mapping of dystopian/utopian rave and cross cultural histories , where bodies in induced comatose are entered' into guided perpetual interior flow states: activated by fringe audio/video/lighting medicine,  cyber\ primeval dance floor shamanism, genre -DNA data-bending, and mind-altering nanotech creatures moving in blood/nerve/synapse lines. 


Those  on the brink of mortal death are tuned via frequencies/vibrations of [post-future media into the Spiritual collective foundations and energia built upon generations that came before. From generation-Z's psycho-spiritual-identity reformations and acceleration programs, to the  roots of perennial wisdom that informed the earliest of religions.

The works of Rama Parwata, the Melbourne-based percussionist and sound artist, are intense, intricate, and wholly uncompromising in their approach. From Whitehorse, Kilat, Rinuwat, and co-curation for Make It Up Club, Rama’s work is full of life and self-determination. He’s joined us for an hour of polyrhythms, free jazz, death metal, and Viper. My legs are all muddled, trampling the sky. I can see the ribbons falling out, still streaming.

A. A collection of textural swells with some moments of broken beats. I cant really tell if it’s a sad mix or an uplifting mix, or both? I guess it depends on who’s listening. I think it might be both.
