Finn: I plan to go back to my Irish routes more this year and created a simple backing track on Octave Mandolin & Tenor Banjo, but then ran out of ideas.  Doina took a listen and came up with this lovely uplifting tune. The song had a different name when we started out, but now it reminds me of driving along a coast road with the window open. Thank you Doina! 

Doina: Celtic music has been a part of my life for the past 12 years and I can't imagine my life without it. When I started to write and record, these violin tracks seemed too simple. And then Finn started working, mixing, adding tracks. What a journey. Thank you, Finn, for giving me the opportunity to be a puzzle piece in this big machinery called music!

So imagine that  the goddess Calliope (a patron deity of music in ancient Greece) somehow fell into a time warp that has taken her into the 80's where she was introduced to electro funk music. As she pondered this new sound she decided to  bring some of that  back to Olympus with her to entertain the gods. And what a party it was! 

So I was sort of inspired by the beauty and serenity of the Harp and decided to  electrify it ...:)

Hello Folks, 

Welcome to my humble page! A little about me: Mid 30s  business lady by day, music obsessed creative fiend by night. I do mean OBSESSED….Music lives in my head and can not stop coming out of it! I grew up listening  to  all kinds of music so my  creations have been influenced by live instruments and orchestral melodies marrying the  beat and rhythm of dance music.  Piano - trained and a hobby vocalist of sorts , music is  how I deal with the world.  As of 2024 , embarking on a  journey to learning the guzheng and cello. Some paint some build, some write… This girl tells stories with her music.  Take a pause and listen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy setting  them loose into the world !
