Lost On You (Cover in the making LP)

One of my earliest influences on Soundcloud was/is an amazing artist known as BoxTox (@user-247600493). I've always loved his really quirky and creative music which is so fun to listen to because of all the subtle details (for example, unusual percussion, and using quite low air flow in his sax, clarinet, and flute playing, and original rhythms and melodies). 

This tune is my tribute to BoxTox, where I tried to bring in instruments and playing style influenced by his music. It was a lot of fun working on this, especially since I got the chance to practice with the really excellent VST brush drum sounds, even if it's a little busy at times! Of course, I couldn't help myself and smooshed in a middle section that's very typically me, whether it fits in or not!   :) 

All instruments are played using my keyboard, except the flute bits which are played live with a real flute.

These days Inspiration and creativity is a rare thing for me unfortunately. I guess life has been rather mundane and harsh. Tonight however A tiny sliver of creativity did strike. I guess this girl got visited by Elpis- The goddess of hope and realized that maybe my musical ability is not completely gone ... when life gives you bitterness and sadness I guess you have to hold on to the wings of hope and soar into better days ! This one is for all those that are struggling right now... <3

Welcome to my humble page! A little about me: Mid 30s  business lady by day, music obsessed creative fiend by night. I do mean OBSESSED….Music lives in my head and can not stop coming out of it! I grew up listening  to  all kinds of music so my  creations have been influenced by live instruments and orchestral melodies marrying the  beat and rhythm of dance music.  Piano - trained and a hobby vocalist of sorts , music is  how I deal with the world.  As of 2024 , embarking on a  journey to learning the guzheng and cello. Some paint some build, some write… This girl tells stories with her music.  Take a pause and listen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy setting  them loose into the world !
