Blades Of Winter

"Take The Black" is an epic cinematic symphonic folk metal song that has been inspired from fantasy role play games and medieval music. The pyromancer is back and brought his shady friends. Let's assemble, take the black and bring down a bloodthirsty tyrant! 
After writing "Pyromancer" in 2021, we wanted to create some epic battle music. Everything started with an arpeggio on my acoustic guitar, when I suddenly had the idea to try something with bagpipes. Jordan's comment about medieval villagers wielding forks and shields against a tyrant has been a great lyrical prompt, so we continued on that. The arrangement grew bigger, and bigger, and soon we had to summon the whole band.

RELEASE NOTES

A collaborative jam featuring Stonerjazz (@user-911083679) on vocals,
Turab Khan (@turab-khan) on guitar, Zanshin 残真 (@soundsofthekosmos) on
drums & Teth Sin (@teth-sin) on guitars, bass & vocals.
This collaboration started back in 2020. Myrh (@myrhyum) suggested Teth
Sin to track a guitar part on "Mazdoor Funk (loop jam with Raza)" -
Original track by Turab Khan:

aside for various logistical and technical reasons.
A couple of years later Zanshin 残真 sent Teth Sin a sample of his cool
street drumming, which was synced to Turab Khan's jam. Teth Sin, at that
point, decided to cut out the bass and drums from the original piece,
leaving only Turab Khan's guitar. Then he chopped up his guitar solo and
redistributed it across various tracks. He also added a new bass line,
which helped vary the structure of the song.
In late 2023 Teth Sin asked Stonerjazz to kindly add lyrics and vocals.
He mixed and mastered the song, and the result is this enjoyable
funk-rock jam, featuring a sample of Stonerjazz's exquisite
post-beat/psychedelic poetry.
Please note that every element was recorded in a different continent:
drums in Australia, some guitar in Pakistan, other guitars in Tunisia,
bass in Italy, vocals in the USA. Still this virtual jam sounds so
cohesive, despite a world that seems to be increasingly fragmented and
disjointed. At the end of the day, we should always remember that we all
revolve around That Giant Ball Of Burning Gas...

When there are no words to speak how she feels... so music says what one cannot and she is tired of feeling. Pieces of her soul break away and gather in sound... and so...  she sheds what's left of her.... She will not break completely.No.  But rather fall, get up ... and start anew.... Hello Folks, 

Welcome to my humble page! A little about me: Mid 30s  business lady by day, music obsessed creative fiend by night. I do mean OBSESSED….Music lives in my head and can not stop coming out of it! I grew up listening  to  all kinds of music so my  creations have been influenced by live instruments and orchestral melodies marrying the  beat and rhythm of dance music.  Piano - trained and a hobby vocalist of sorts , music is  how I deal with the world.  As of 2024 , embarking on a  journey to learning the guzheng and cello. Some paint some build, some write… This girl tells stories with her music.  Take a pause and listen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy setting  them loose into the world !
