mono no aware (もののあわれ) is the first compilation to be released on PAN, collating unreleased ambient tracks from both new and existing PAN artists.

Featuring Jeff Witscher, Helm, TCF, Yves Tumor, M.E.S.H., Pan Daijing, HVAD, Kareem Lotfy, ADR, Mya Gomez, Sky H1, James K, Oli XL, Bill Kouligas, Flora Yin-Wong, Malibu, and AYYA, the compilation moves through more traditional notions of what is called ’ambient’, to incorporating wider variations that fall under the term.

“Mono no aware”, ‘the pathos of things’, also translates as “an empathy toward things", or "a sensitivity to ephemera”. A term for the awareness of impermanence, or the transience of things. A meditation on mortality and life's transience, ephemerality heightens the appreciation of beauty and sensitivity to their passing. In investigating the passing of time, the boundaries between memory and hallucination become blurred; between fiction and reality. The movement of time transforms into an eternal present.

The album is mastered and cut by Rashad Becker at D&M, featuring photography by Molly Matalon and design by Bill Kouligas. A limited version of 100 copies will be released as a special art edition in collaboration with Mount Analog for the LA Art Book Fair 2017, before going on general release.

The Houseum Records family is proud to announce that it continues to grow with this new Various Artists EP. To fly to new horizons, Astro, Sunfleur, Harisson BDP and Aemone gathered a collection of 4 tracks with deep and dubby sounds.

Ready for a power takeoff with Astro? From the beginning, this track sends us to another planet with the bassline. And the hypnotic beats certainly make a spacey banger! Sunfleur embarks you in the ship Vostok 1, for a cosmic ballad mixed with sweet and nostalgic lines of synths. This very smooth groove and these robotic vocals make us float.

On the B side, Harrison BDP gives us a darker track. The gravity leads us to a real fusion of reverberating drum lines and entrancing pads, It feels like entering a black hole. On the 16th Runemark release we deliver a fresh and hot EP 'Mas' from Ten Walls which includes three original compositions: the title track 'Mas', 'Prolog' and 'Sazam'. EP is a vivid combination of diverse melodies style wise and every composition has a unique personal touch. 
The three tracks move from Detroit's minimalism to Minimal Techno, with dark, trippy, but pumping raw power. Mas ends up with a beautiful story with its unpredictable structure. Built from electro bass, tight rhythms, uplifting breakdowns, the storyline is glued into one singular almost tangible experience. This time Ten Walls' experiments bring his deeper, darker side. Swampy, clumsy, down to earth 'Prolog', shifting and tricky 'Sazam' is opened by the title track 'Mas' - created in space arpeggio. 'Mas' recalls the EP title, that according to the author came up accidentally - simply taking letter R from the word Mars.
'Mas' EP represents a slightly different approach from Ten Walls. The 16th release in the Runemark catalog is available in both physical vinyl and digital formats. Enjoy the music!

Drawing its name from the physiological and psychological process that results in a confusion of one's sensory perceptions, 'Synesthesia' is indeed the kind of club single that shall trigger off massive reaction amongst right-minded bipeds and chromakey house suckers. Straightforward club business done right, Melja's original is a vivid kaleidoscope of skittish drums, swampy bass stabs and a well-rounded, supremely curvy synthwork, tailored to take ravers on a flash journey through space and time without the help of Richard Branson or Elon Tusk (pun intended).

Called in on remix duty, TTT affiliate and Incienso co-founder Anthony Naples delivers a more fragmented and ambientish variation, though functional and club-ready in its own right. Brushing even wider verbed-out pad tapestries for your brain to wander in, the track expands to deeper organic horizons with a field-depth that can not but recall that of the KLF and Bochum Welt's emotional soundscaping. Meanwhile, Karenn half Pariah takes care of whelming us deep into more techno-friendly terrains, true to his ever masterly touch for epic buildups and multi-level textural innovation, bringing up the acidic phlegm of Melja's original as he treats us to a carefully orchestrated ballet of synthetic whorls, contemplative chords and propulsive drum programming.

Isaac Aesili is a Māori musician, DJ, and music producer from Aotearoa, New Zealand, based in Bangkok. DJs such as Bill Brewster, Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Jamz Supernova, and Shy One have supported his music. Isaac is a member of the Lord Echo band playing trumpet and percussion; his horns feature in many collaborations, including ‘Midnight in Peckham’ by Chaos in the CBD (Rhythm Section) and ‘Layer’ by Julien Dyne (Wonderful Noise/BBE). His music styles span soul, deep house, and electronica, mixed with elements of jazz, hip-hop, reggae, Brazilian, Latino, Afro, and Asia-Pacific influences. Isaac is a featured artist on the title track of Chaos in the CBD’s new album, ‘A Deeper Life’.
