Would We?

Green is a coming of age project, a storytelling album about the people and events that have shaped the artist as she becomes firmly an adult. It heavily leans into the emotional lyricism of R&B, and the drama of musicals. Several of the songs flash between rehearsals, auditions or on stage, "to represent how intimate or shareable a moment is. In the first track "Questions" the artist wonders about who she will be in front of a crowd. "Green," the final song, is a somber and cheeky reflection about how 'green' the artist still is, but acknowledes all of the formative events that have unfolded in the previous 10 tracks.

Is proudly from Atlanta, and proudly East Coast based. She is best known as a singer-songwriter specializing in R&B with a cheeky theatrical influence.
