Self-produced British composer and recording artist for 25 years, Imogen Heap has released five solo albums, another as one half of Frou Frou and collaborated with countless and varied artists including Taylor Swift, Nitin Sawhney, Deadmau5, Eric Whitacre, Jeff Beck and Jon Hopkins. Her compositions and songs pop up in blockbuster and indie films as well as countless TV shows, are featured in underground rap and dance music and covered by the likes of Ariana Grande. As composer and arranger for one of the biggest hits in theatrical history, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, Imogen won the Drama Desk Outstanding Music in a Play award. As a sought-after speaker and performer, Heap hosted 2020’s Grammys Premiere Ceremony. Heap’s collaborative and multi-dimensional workflow attracts companies for commissioned works, leading to songs such as Tiny Human, the first song to distribute payments via a Smart Contract, and The Happy Song, a highly successful song for children in their early-years.  Amid a music industry climate in which the majority of artists fall into discrete genre parameters that determine their mass appeal, J-E-Z (born John Earl) prefers to concern himself with cultivating a unique sound that itself could spark the next big trend in dance music. A party scene veteran with long-standing ties in L.A., Chicago, Phoenix and Denver (the latter of which he presently and proudly calls home), the dues paid by the introspective artist in no way fall short of providing him with the creative resources necessary for such a feat. Having been influenced by all forms music since as long back as he can remember, J-E-Z cites Boston, The Carpenters, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles and other bands his parents listened to as the groups responsible for shaping the soundscapes of his earliest memories - while groups such as Sublime, Collective Soul and Rage Against the Machine played comparable roles around the time he entered his formative years. Around the age of 14, he discovered electronic dance music. Artists like Anthony Pappa, John Digweed and Nick Warren as well as labels such as Global Underground and Chimera would inspire him to take up DJing at the age of 15 - and after becoming a connoiseur of others' music, he would come to understand it as a profound method of communication and learn how to craft his own beats. Regarding his more recent influences, J-E-Z draws inspiration largely from DJs and producers who he feels don't adhere to the confines of conventional EDM sub-genres. Tipper, Noisia and Amon Tobin play prominent roles in his music library as of late, and he refrains from imposing career motives or expectations on his creative process while producing his music. While the end result bridges elements that can be described with terms like dubstep, drum 'n' bass, glitch or electro, the whole of each conveys an intelligent, deliberate depth greater than the sum of its parts. J-E-Z has played sets at Kinetix in Chicago and at clubs throughout Denver such as Vinyl, The Church, Casselman's and Diamond After Dark. At present, he spends most of his time producing new tracks in the studio, but eagerly anticipates returning to the decks after a series of upcoming releases
