Revelation of Sounds is pleased to present Kontinum. Initially inspired by the subcultural scene of his hometown of Lübeck, the young artist was strongly influenced by the predominant sound of the Leipzig techno scene. Especially the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft and its hypnotic and dissociative sound significantly formed his distinctive style and quickly paved his way into the local scene.

In 2017 then, he co-founded the project Nebula and after organising their first raves the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical and organisational affairs, he continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his recent releases on labels such as Circular Limited, Oslated or Lowless.

Motion Symmetry' is a new born alter-ego of the mind behind NFEREE project that focuses on modular ambient and techno. As NFEREE he quickly been able to attract the attention of many within the deep techno scene. His approach to producing is rooted in deeper techno spectrums based on experiments with digital and analog machines and ambient textures. Impressive releases on labels like Subosc, Sytolic, Kornarion as well as his own imprint have demonstrated his consistent quality output in a relatively short time.

a.k.a. Lyu Zhi-Qiang, working and living in Beijing, China.

Contemporary artist, DJ. Since 2013, he has worked closely with ShadowPlay, a famous electronic music label in Beijing, to produce music with his years of visual and auditory experience in the context of underground electronic music scene. In 2017, he officially became an artist under ShadowPlay label. 

Music genre ranging from Techno, Deep hypnotic, Psychedelic, Minimal, Ambient, to Experimental. He prefers calm and serious music, explores the creative combination of experimental electronic music and dance music, pays attention to the deep self-reflection and self-experience of music expression, and pursues the infinite freedom of mind and body in the limited timeline.

Currently, he runs Techno music event label "隧道-Tunnel", as well as cooperating with DJ Zhiqi to operate "海市蜃楼 Eerawai", Resident DJ at Zhao Dai.

Lyu Zhi-Qiang 으로도 알려져 있으며  중국 북경에 거주하며 현대미술가, DJ 로 활동 하고 있다.

2013년부터 베이징의 유명 전자음악 레이블인 쉐도우플레이 (ShadowPlay) 와 긴밀하게 협력해 언더그라운드 전자음악계의 현장에서 수년간의 시청각적 경험으로 음악을 제작하며, 2017년 Shadowplay 레이블의 정식 아티스트가 됐다.

Techno, Deep hypnotic, Psychedelic, Minimal, Ambient, to Experimental 에 이르는 음악 장르에서, 그는 차분하고 진지한 음악을 선호하고, 실험적인 전자음악과 댄스음악의 창조적인 조합을 탐구하며, 음악표현의 깊은 자기반성과 자기경험에 주의를 기울이며, 제한된 시간대에서 무한한 심신의 자유를 추구한다.

현재 테크노 음악 이벤트 레이블인 '隧道-Tunnel' 과, DJ Zhiki 와 협력하여 '海市蜃楼 Eerawai "를 운영하고 있으며 'Zhao Dai' 의 레지던트 DJ 이다.

We reach the finale of @furthersessions podcast with a full vinyl mix from resident Tobias Balghuber! His mix takes us through a spatial journey with hypnotic stabs that reverb in our head much after the set is over. A clever reminder of what real quality of techno on wax is, this mix bubbles you up with an ever lasting feeling and want for more. Tobias digs deep into crates giving us a taste of some Detroit and hard style sounds cleverly mixed with Deep Techno.

Ranjit Nijjer (Melbourne | Australia)

With over sixteen years experience in all things Techno in Melbourne, Australia, Ranjit Nijjer has truly carved out his own unique piece of the city’s landscape as a promoter, DJ and more recently as a producer. His event Technoir has become an institution in Melbourne; an important Techno destination over its 16 year life, showcasing home made talent from across the full spectrum of Techno.

Ranjit’s DJ sets are full of energy and a delicate intensity, as he expertly layers and weaves high volumes of tracks to create a truly distinctive dance floor experience for Techno fans both young and old.

Whether it is deep, hypnotic, ethereal rhythms or relentless, pounding harder sounds (often tinged with his special brand of funk), Ranjit gives the dancefloor and the listener his all.
This passion and care has seen Ranjit consistently booked around town for many years now, including several appearances at the acclaimed Rainbow Serpent Festival.

2020 has already seen Ranjit release his first two EPs on Australian Techno imprint Machine, with another follow up in the pipeline. More releases and remix projects are very much on the horizon as he establishes himself as a producer to watch in the future.
