He's a resident of Southern German, Shockwerk collective and has had recent performances at Weltspiele, Tresor, Mala Junta, and Kulør’s label night at Berghain.

A deeply passionate dance music collector with his own distinctive sound, he is surely and firmly establishing himself as one to watch in the electronic dance scene.

Helena Hauff, a former resident DJ at Hamburg's Golden Pudel Club, rose to global prominence with her 2015 album "Discreet Desires." Known for her authentic style and expertly curated DJ sets spanning acid, electro, EBM, and techno, she has headlined major festivals like Sonar and Dekmantel. Hauff’s BBC Essential Mix was named the best of 2017, and her latest album, "Qualm," continues her raw, powerful approach to music.

DJ MELL G emerged through 2020 livestreams, quickly gaining recognition. She launched JUICY GANG RECORDS in 2021 and has since toured globally, blending electro, techno, and breakbeat. Performing at top venues like fabric and Golden Pudel Club, she’s also collaborated with artists like DJ GODFATHER. Her debut LP, "ISSUES," reflects her journey and commitment to mental health awareness in the music industry.

“I was really happy to be asked to record this mix for Blush, especially seeing what they’ve been doing with the series. It felt like a perfect opportunity to share a style that plays a big part in my slowing down process. As I've delved deeper into understanding my own personal mental health journey, I've come to appreciate the importance of taking time out and embracing the wind down. As a DJ and partygoer, striking a balance is crucial while keeping happiness and well-being at the forefront. I wanted to create something that can help people unwind, switch off, and carve out some space amidst the ever-growing noise. Starting in an ambient, more ethereal space, the mix gradually builds through down-tempo, dub, and reggae elements before heading back down that ambient hill… enjoy x”

Locks is a Manchester-based DJ who frequently pushes the boundaries of his taste and sound. As a resident at Blasha & Allatts' queer techno party, Frixxxion, he is known for his dynamic house and techno selections and his playful, energetic presence behind the decks. He has connected with dance floors across the UK, including Manchester’s White Hotel and D.B.A, and more recently internationally at Fuchs2 in Prague. Locks frequently appears in Manchester’s local scene, with recent sets at events such as Meat Free, Frixxxion, HØL & Tiribä. Experience a different side to Locks with this 60 minute wind-down mix.

Ben Sims Presents: Run It Red 080924

MCMLXXXV (@thetruemcmlxxxv) is a co-founder and resident at Berlin's celebrated queer party Herrensauna. Though it has gone from being a local underground favourite to a globe-travelling brand, it always remains true to its mission of empowering people though music and community. The soundtrack is hard and dark and comes from across the electro, techno, EBM and industrial spectrum but for every bit of grit, there is always a hint of seduction. MCMLXXXV was a real highlight when he closed down Dekmantel Festival '22 at the UFO stage with his fellow residents so we're delighted to welcome him back to the podcast series.

And he doesn't disappoint across a high-octane hour. The slick selections are in a rush to get you moving and once you start you won't be able to stop. The rhythms are elastic but bumping with earth-quaking bass down low and everything from tribal percussion to liquid synths via sleazy vocals up top. It's a perfect display of MCMLXXXV's ability to blend the physical with the sensual into colourful and contemporary soundtracks that really bang.
