Words I never thought I’d hear again, but the time paradox figure 8 reverse accelerated this cursed sentence back into sentience. The camera, these sounds, begin as Choose Your Own Adventure - Let’s Play a Game and graduate into a maximum euphoria spent #ClubDeath access point. Then, the ride slows into a cool dip in the lake of green R.L. Stine fondly paints when literature becomes visual, sound becomes all-encompassing. 

Calling All Creeps! The “One Day At Horrorland” club doors swing open and suddenly you find yourself violently thrashing to the experimental liquid dopamine injection you’ve just received complimentary from Slappy. You feel the strings attached to your upper extremities dashing you across the club floor when suddenly the illusion dissolved into a bass so viscous, not even the Monster Blood you brought with you can protect you. 

With nothing left to feel, your neurotransmitters depleted, exhausted, you listen again. And again.

Serotonin features contributions by some long-lasting friends and new found collaborators ; Dane Law, DIDA, dj celes, Eye Measure, FARWARMTH, Felisha Ledesma, Georgie McVicar, hogobogobogo, IVVVO, KMRU, Lauren Duffus, Lenticloud, Monofee, mu tate, Nexcyia, onybdy, Shit Creek, SPECIMENS and 空蟬(Cicada Shell)

Cherubic voices, sparkling drums, and drones on their way back home from an all-nighter set the scene for this compilation. 19 artists have made sonic references to the hormone that acts to regulate our wellbeing. This is the second release from a series that is musically themed on psycho-sensory states of happiness, or the lack thereof.

Profits from this release will go to the Black Cultural Archives and Raw Music Media. 2 Brixton based organisations / charities.
