Here's a live recording of Lee Burridge when he came over to my house for after-hours back in 2008.  The same night he played the Ballroom at Myst Nightclub.  This was not a planned after-hours and was held in my one bedroom apartment.  Talk about intimate venue lol.  We had about 30 people crammed in the room, people woke up from dead sleep and drove over to witness this epic night.  Lee was on another level that night and was djing on his knees, in his bright red socks.  4am-? I will remember this night for the rest of my life...

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!
2015 was a great year for Mayan Warrior at Burning Man… and now we are ready to start spreading the sets that made our week so special.
We start with what was experienced on the sunrise from Thursday to Friday having Rebolledo on the controls. 
The Sci-Fi mood was already set by Barnt who was playing just before, the temperature that night was very low, so honest power and hypnotic vibes were required to flex the muscles and let the mind go leaving  the cold behind… and that´s what was delivered…  

" I feel blessed to be part of the team of Mayan Warrior, after three years of playing there and two of being in charge of curating the lineups together with Damian Romero… I can only look forward to the next adventures which just keep getting better and better… Thank you all so much… "

"Playing at Mayan Warrior was such a huge honor for us - we still can’t quite believe that this was the first set we ever played at Burning Man! To see the impressive, multi-media art car with all its lights and glory waiting for us was intimidating, to say the least. 
When we arrived to play our set, it started moving into the Deep Playa, with us and our little group of friends following behind it on our bikes. The art car moved slowly, playing its ritualistic music and summoning its followers from the darkness as it set off into the desert. We were at the front of the procession, and every time we looked back, the sea of lights & bikes got bigger and bigger while our hearts started beating faster and faster. People on bikes started appearing one by one from all corners of the Playa, following the fire and lasers until the art car finally stopped and we climbed on top.
We will never forget what it felt like to play our music there….ours was the first set of the night, and we tried to capture the Warrior feeling in our own musical language. The tracks we played reflect the powerful vibe we felt looking down onto the crowd, with the bass booming underneath our feet and the lasers and flames lighting up all around us. Some of them are dark, some of them melancholic - and all of them are close to our hearts. 
We are so grateful to have been invited to share our music on top of the mighty Mayan Warrior, so to Pablo and everyone else who made it happen: thank you so much <3"

Jamaica's musical influence is also heard in some Latin, West African, Turkish, Arabic, and Isreali tunes as well.  I really tried to tell a story with the songs, so I encourage you to listen closely to the lyrics, which speak about uniting together, becoming a better version of your self, the problems and challenges with money, the joy of smoking marijuana, everyday struggles, living good, and of course, LOVE.
