Had fun trying something a little different on this sort of Lo-Fi R&P track. Initially I was uncertain about who would fit on such an obscure instrumental. But Austin Sebek from Splendor Tree was adventurous enough to jump right onto this and bring it into a direction that sounds so smooth and natural. And adding that lovely soulful quality that she always brings, Sarah Juers graces this track with her own vocal touches, which are the perfect finishing compliments to the vibe that Austin started. We live in Isla Vista, CA, a crazy college town right on the beach. Roughly 30,000 students, families and everyone in-between, live within one square mile. Isla Vista has always had a wild streak, and that culture has influenced the way we worship Jesus. We exist in this city to declare the goodness of God & the love he has for all of His kids through every tragedy and triumph. We’ve been writing songs, growing alongside our local church community and running after the heart of the Father for this city.
