A new label is born! With artists based both in Barcelona and São Paulo, CAMPANA Records' first release showcases the personalities of two of its members with a split EP. On the A side, Villaça brings two techno-trance tracks made in 2023 for his live act, and after two years of testing these tracks all around Latin and North America, he arranged these high-energy pieces for this release! And on the other side, we have the always evolving, fresh, and intelligent dark grooves from Trajano - two tracks made with care that showcase his unique vision for dance floors. Above all, this release is about resilience, friendship, and dedication from two Brazilian artists who have a deep love for making people dance with underground music!

Decades on, the time has come for Island Issues, in collaboration with Onis, to proudly dust off a selection of Cesar de Melero & Mr. Claude’s productions that have shaped the highs of countless nights.

Side A opens with D.O.D.’s “1, 2, 3, 4”, a trusted tool for DJs worldwide since 1997. While the elusive “De Pompidou’s Mix”, previously only available on the Sónar ’99 CD compilation, makes its first appearance on vinyl, revealing a deeper, late-night dimension.

On the flip, D.D.D.’s “Moovin’ (Bisexual Mix)” channels pure 1996 rave energy, turning the core sample shared with the A-side into a raw and infectious groove. Closing the record,                “The Struggle” weaves a James Baldwin speech into layers of warm, old-school deepness, sustaining tension and purpose until the very last bar.

Adam Curtain and Ste Robert’s return with the second instalment of their project ‘Adam and Steve’. When 2 talented producers like these collide, the result is hand crafted, minimal masterpieces. The EP includes two tracks, with our premiere being the B side: ‘Baby Steps’.

Baby Steps really follows suit with its lyrics. Glitchy and full of bleeps, we get the feeling we are inside the computer ourselves. Not lacking on movement, variation or character, Baby Steps is constantly evolving to keep you interested throughout, with our favourite element being the sexy acid line. This is a fantastic EP which blurs the lines between genres.
