Chasing Kicks began DJing in Brisbane back in 2009, getting his feet wet at Barsoma, one of Brisbane’s most notorious underground house venues of the time, soon after Chasing Kicks was playing for some of Brisbane’s hottest club nights, including frequent appearances on lineups with parties such as Auditree, Kush Club, Delight, and Subtrakt.

His enduring passion for house music led him to discover and pursue the scene in Europe, his time in Manchester in 2012 saw him play at some of the hot spots including Sankey’s, and Joshua Brooks, also making his way out to Ibiza for the summer, playing cameo gigs at various venues and boat parties.

In 2013, a move back to his hometown Brisbane saw him co-running the ‘Motif’ parties across various venues in Brisbane, from boat parties to hotels and inner-city bunkers, an old story has it is where Fred P played an organized after-party event in the basement of his house until the late hours.

Inspired by Berlin from a young age he finally made his dream come true of living in the city in 2015, there he played clubs such as IPSE, the late Griessmuhle, Loftus Hall, and also held a residency for the Olive Barrell club night at Anita Berber.  

2016 saw him do his first record release under the alias LVC, which was released by Centre Source Records. During his DJ tenure, Chasing Kicks has played support slots for some high-profile and well-known international artists, such as Liquid Earth, Huerta, Henrik Schwarz, Todd Terje, Robert Babicz, and more.

Skip forward to the current, Chasing Kicks is now glad to be calling Brisbane home again in 2024, early this year will see him release his 'Can’t Stop' EP with much more to follow.
