i am an incredibly private person. i am selective and cautious of who i share anything personal with. i get that from my family. but i also love/want/need to write and sing. and with that comes an openness. not hiding the things that greatly make me who i am. the things that will trickle into my creative work for the rest of my life. 

with that said, very recently i lost one of my closest and dearest family members. it was far too early to be their time. and i must say, i feel far too young to already be without them. every day is a journey to find and maintain peace with such a monumental loss.

"kingdom" is the beginning of me sharing this side of myself and my life. this is where i am. me and my keyboard. and it is an absolute privilege and gift to have you sit here with me a while.
