"Breath Between" is a deeply atmospheric Deep House track that blends minimalism with emotional depth. Driven by a tight 4/4 groove, muted deep bass, warm analog pads, and subtle field recordings, it creates an intimate and evolving soundscape. Instead of traditional lyrics, the track features floating, wordless vocal textures – soft tones and airy vocal layers that act as an instrument, drifting between silence and sound.

With influences from Melodic House, Minimal House, and Ambient House, this track unfolds like a breath suspended in time – perfect for late-night listening, introspection, and immersive atmospheres.

Galaxian has made a crucial contribution to modern electronic music in the 21st century, de- constructing & turning it on it's head while making bold strides into unexplored territories. Often recognised as a pioneer & innovator, his inventiveness is only surpassed by his ability to mine consistently new seams of sound, rhythms and intricate arrangements. 

More than a decade of authoritative releases on world-class labels & counting Aphex Twin, Mary Anne Hobbs, Helena Hauff & DJ Stingray among admirers, the latter being sometime collaborators. Notable live & DJ sets played worldwide at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, Resident Advisor and key releases on Tresor, BPitch, Ilian Tape, Return to Disorder, Micron Audio and many others & featured in a number of BBC Essential Mixes, BBC Radio 1 + BBC Radio 6 Mary Anne Hobbs. 

Beginning his journey behind the decks long before stepping into production, DJ sets display a reflect a deep well of knowledge and experience. Stylistically mixing style is rooted in a classic old-school approach, completely contemporary in track choices, techniques and performance. Sets are tightly woven, dynamic, incendiary, evocative. 

With recent releases on BPitch and Herrensauna, Galaxian - along with his alter ego Naix - continues to reaffirm his reputation for crafting unconventional yet essential electronic music that resonates in the 21st century and beyond. 

With such an intense output of 5 albums in 3 years it was time to take a long earned rest and consider new sonic avenues, developing new ideas and adopting different sound palettes and production techniques. During this extended period there has been a lot of evolution and shift for the Galaxian and Naix sounds resulting in dozens of new tracks and a few albums worth of material. 

In 2025 Galaxian turned his attention to the sample library world, launching a new platform called Wavkore in late March 2025. Designed to give producers fresh creative possibilities, it offers access to his signature sounds, a curated artist series, and plenty more developments on the horizon.

French underground hitmakers Oden & Fatzo return to Defected alongside producer Romeo Louisa with ‘Be The One’. Following a string of certified dance favourites on the London label, including 2024 summer smash ‘Tell Me What You Want’ with Poppy Baskcomb and more recently ‘Only For Tonight’ with m.O.N.R.O.E and Matluck, the Parisian duo are back with their most ambitious song yet alongside long-time friend and collaborator Romeo Louisa. Hailing from the French Riviera, Romeo Louisa’s soulful, garage-adjacent sonic have led to collaborations with house’s freshest names, including Josh Butler, THEOS and a remix from DJ Steaw. Co-produced with the Grammy award-winning Picard Brothers, ‘Be The One’ is an energetic record with vibrant bursts of funk, filtered vocals and delicious synthwork paying homage to their French electronic heritage.

Following an unforgettable open to close In Search of Sunrise night at Eden in Ibiza, Markus Schulz checks in from the island for this week’s Global DJ Broadcast. At the forefront is the release of his brand-new single with BLR, Ten Seconds Before Sunrise; a heartfelt reimagination of Tiësto’s iconic trance classic, available to stream from this Friday. The essentials this week include highlights from Ferry Corsten & HALIENE, Solarstone, Ilan Bluestone, Robert Nickson and Dave Neven; with HI-LO’s powerful new track Reese standing out as one of the show’s biggest moments.
