Imagine a jungle, a green village and its inhabitants with a thousand languages. Suddenly, in the heart of their sumptuous garden, named Isis, a ceremony begins. Pushed by its inhabitants, you are surrounded by it. The languages ​​of the whole world then begin to resonate together, the rhythm of the music accelerates ... and the journey begins.

As always, I wanted to compose here with as many references as possible and tell a story of trance. A veritable mosaic of possibilities, in this village which is at the same time Amazonian, European, Latin, Oceanian, Indian and African, you are gradually taken towards increasingly catchy rhythms. This set evolves very slowly towards powerful and heavy electronic sounds before returning to more acoustic and positive universes. Mixing many voices with downtempo and organic house, this set is dedicated to those moments when we voluntarily lose control of ourselves to find ourselves internally.

M.Ecko is a project without limit of colors, limit of bpm, limit of universe. His sets symbolize the meeting and sharing between cultures. Lovers of electro-ethnic music and connoisseurs of electro-psychedelic rhythms, from downtempo to psytrance, his sets seek story telling through the variety of styles used. Alternately bright and dark, crossing a wide spectrum of acoustic sounds, his mixes are intended for everyone to discover underground music and seek to break down received ideas.

In the heart of summer's embrace, beneath the celestial canopy, a symphony of beats unfolded at Hadra's grand tapestry. 

Amidst the vibrant hues of the festival's kaleidoscopic glow, I took my place on the stage, where dreams and melodies would flow. The crowd, an ocean of euphoria, embraced the sonic tide, as I navigated through realms of sound, on this electrifying ride ! 

Under the vast expanse of the cosmic dome, my debut at Hadra Festival, a memory for me forever to be known! In the tapestry of time, where melodies linger and intertwine, I left a piece of my soul, on that stage, under Hadra's divine sign. 🙏

For the fourth time in two years time, Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) flew eastwards, all the way to the mighty Dnipro river. It was early April and the temperatures were very mild and pleasant. Then they saw their friend Mriya (Мрія) waving at them in the middle of a flowery meadow. Mriya was 14 years old now, and she had grown a lot since their last visit. To Hekske and Falke’s surprise, Mriya greeted them with 3 kisses on the cheek, and wished them a happy Easter. She proudly showed them her easter basket, which was made from willow branches and covered with a white towel, which was beautifully embroidered in yellow and blue patterns. Mriya explained that this towel was made by her great-grandmother over 100 years ago. She explained that she was expecting visitors from all over Ukraine. Soon afterwards, another witch arrived and they all welcomed her with 3 kisses on her cheek. Her name was Vesna and she came from the woods around Mount Hoverla in the west. She had brought some small bottles with colorful dyes : violet from the bark of an elderberry bush, yellow from the flowers of the woadwaxen, gold from onion skins, etc..
Soon afterwards, another witch arrived from the east. She had flown all the way from the scenic valley of the Oskil river.  A little later, another witch flew in from the north but after that it was a long wait for the witch of the South. Finally, a young witch flew by and gently landed on the fairy meadow. She had come all the way from the Valley of Ghosts. And she was not alone as she was accompanied by a sweet-looking animal. The witches were elated when they realized this was the raccoon which was stolen from this area some 1,5 years ago. The lively animal was very happy to be back home again, and soon the raccoon was frolicking with all the witches, and rolling over from joy.
Now that all witches had arrived, Mriya put some eggs on the table while Vesna opened the bottles with the colorful dyes. The local witches knew exactly what to do, applying hot wax on the eggs before scrathing and dying them in elaborate colorful patterns. Many of these patterns had been passed on from witch to witch for centuries. These decorated eggs were called ‘pysanky’.
Vidma, the witch from the northern plains had another method to decorate the eggs, which she did by coating eggs with bee wax and covering them with beads in vivid colorful patterns. This kind of easter eggs were called ‘biserky’.
Hekske and Falke truly enjoyed the typically Slavic cosy atmosphere of the Easter celebrations. And after nightfall, they lit a bonfire, sang spellbinding age-old witch’s songs and they performed folk dances around the fire until well past midnight. 
This was easily the cosiest Easter Hekske and Falke had ever experienced…

"The trash fence was fluttering in the wind on the northeastern side of the city.
Luna's portals were aimed straight at the fireball rising from the horizon, as well as the door to the steam room.
The first rays of the sun were blinding, prompting thoughts of sunglasses and sunscreen. Another unforgettable night had just ended.
In the "Amethyst" parked at the back, the steam almost ended, but the dancing didn't stop.
In the rays of the scorching sun, it was difficult for me to distinguish pink moths from invisible unicorns.
I did what I was destined to do by name.

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

Cuddle Cast #19 comes from Berlin based @its-aliska. We fell in love with her set at Kater Blau for our friends from @pan_tone and we are very happy that she recorded this perfect cuddle sound journey for us.

Featuring three brand-new original compositions, 'Darien,' 'Distinctness,' and 'Chaco' , the EP showcases Namatjira's signature melodic depth and refined production, continuing his trusted tradition in the genre. It's a succinct yet compelling addition to the discography of one of progressive house's most steadfast artists.

After discovering the world of electronic music in 2000, today’s featured artist Muno has since experimented with classical, minimal house, and dance, before finding his definitive ‘intercultural dark’ sound. Formerly performing under the alias Gurtz during his electronic dance phase, Muno also performs as part of the trio Kermesse. In recent years, while travelling Europe, a new musical dimension opened for Muno so that he decided he wanted his music to bring fresh vibes for both his listeners and himself. “I returned home from a two month trip in Europe, I had heard a lot of artists playing very similar music. I understood that I needed something different after this trip” he said, “a new challenge”. So for today’s podcast he offers us a blend of his remastered tracks, as well as a few unreleased ones. The result is a calm and relaxing but also very playful mix which evokes feelings of cool waters dripping out through the speakers, with each new beat a colourful drop tapping on the water’s surface. Muno hopes this mix will remind his listeners to take a moment to slow down, to live simply, and to have patience. It is a call to reconsider what is truly necessary in our modern times, to think about what you want from this life, and to live in the moment, to enjoy the music and forget about everything else. We hope you enjoy this mix as much as we do! Happy listening!
