Exactly one year after my 2022 release entitled 'Agitation Propaganda', I return with a collection of new tracks that were produced between the middle of 2022 and early 2023. This 20-track album, as the title suggests, is a tribute to the love affair that I have with making music. In 2023 I celebrate my 40th birthday so I thought it was good timing to release a concept album that pays homage to the one true love that I've ever known- Synthesis ♥️

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic synthesizers/drum machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, JX-8P, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to my studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-707, MicroFreak, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

The artwork for the album was done by the brilliant artist Kelly Gilleran, who also just so happens to be my long-term girlfriend. She is a pattern designer, painter, and illustrator. Her work can be found here: www.kellygilleran.redbubble.com/

Собственно, полтосный микс записал интереснейший московский хоуми, проповедник бэйс музыки с тяжелым. но лаконичным стафом. Берегите уголки губ, кабы не убежали к небесам, а также вестибулярный аппарат. Встречайте! Денис Калиниченко с отборной ломаной музыкой. Ну и как без и-вью?

— Денис, расскажи, как ты пришел к электронной музыке и тому жанровому спектру, в котором тебе комфортно.
— Привет! К электронной музыке я пришел от инструментальной. Как и любой группе, которая играла достаточно тяжелую музыку с провокационным неймингом, нам суждено было распасться. Альтернативу этой энергии я нашел в электронной музыке, в частности, внутри азиатской и скандинавской сцены. Спустя годы трансформаций слышим то, что слышим.

— Как появился лейбл Skarn, и в чем его философия? И также мини-вопрос: в чем особенность кассетного звучания? 
— Скарн — контактово-метасоматическая порода, возникающая вблизи интрузии в случае, если вмещающие породы резко отличаются от интрузивных пород по химическому составу.
     Игорь Форкаш предложил мне издать мою музыку на компиляции. На закономерный вопрос «на каком лейбле?» он ответил, что «Мы сами его создадим». Так я познакомился с Филиппом Resel, дж Лориком Millimillenary и мамой skarn Ланой Авдейкиной, с которой мы делили боли и радости менеджмента в дальнейшем. Касательно кассет, их уникальность заключается в особенном тепле звучания, как мне ощущается.

— Вывернутые в реверс барабанные партии, нежные мелодии, убитые дисторшеном и изрезаемые, испещренные глитч-искажениями. Постоянные манипуляции с нарушением ритма. Что дает тебе эта крутотень, и можешь ли после таких аттракционов слушать что-то еще?

— Определенно дает быстрые эндорфины, если все это будет в меру! После таких аттракционов необходимо слушать что-то еще и играть, не застаиваться. Бэйс, лично для меня, лучшая интенсивная альтернатива изрядно успевшей надоесть, на данный момент, прямой бочке. Мои пристрастия простилаются от инди 90х до аудио-коллажей с трансовыми отголосками, везде есть свои приколы, особенно на стыках жанров.

— Расскажи о вечеринках ASPECT. У вас очень футуристичные афиши и сочувствующие муз.эстетике составы артистов. Вы гонитесь за будущим или ощущаете себя уже в нем? Что еще лежит в основе тусовки?
— В основе тусовки лежит любовь к новому звуку, безопасность и комфорт. Это самые важные факторы, на которые мы обращали особенное внимание. На данный момент я чувствую себя в настоящем, смотрю в будущее. Сейчас «Аспект» переживает вторую крупную трансформацию за свое существование, теперь это лейбл, и слыша, какие треки артисты уже скидывают на первую компиляцию, я пребываю в восторге, в каком направлении все движется, очень благодарен всему, что было. Всем талантам и всем площадкам, с которыми мы успели потусить. Всех бы расцеловал.

Hailing from Croatia, Lab Personnel is a musical collaboration turned collective and label between many like-minded artists such as Goran Lautar (aka Neon Lies), Jasmin Mahmić (aka Le Chocolat Noir, Fiume & more), Luka Kurjan (aka Man of Cloth), Marijan Katić, Nikola Kos (aka Ikonal) and Saša Rajković (aka Zarkoff, part of Sumerian Fleet, part of Neugrau & more). Over the years, they would occasionally meet for and record lengthy sessions of improvisational music. 'Marked for Disassembly' is their latest output.

This time, deep within the skeletal remains of an abandoned chemical processing plant, eight of their members captured the disquieting essence of a world suspended between haunting melodies and forgotten industry. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable musical anxiety, their machines oozed up a sonic alchemy of experimental EBM where strange syncopated drums meet with eerie acid lines and gooey textures.

"Marked for Disassembly" is set to be released on Mar 20th across all digital platforms, accompanied by a beautiful UV printed cassette.
