This started as a live recording of me playing double bass during a rainstorm.  I then mangled it until it reminded me of how it felt in the trailer (and later house) I grew up in while rain pelted the tin roof during rainstorms.

While Cleaning The Bathroom (disquiet0530)

Synthesis & editing. 

Outside of the Junto, the influence & dedication here was the attacks on Ukraine on these same days. Specifically, the reduction of the beautiful cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv & Odesa to rubble and panic by deception and bullying by the illegitimate government of Putin.

No Cicadas [disquiet0531]

For this week's project I took an old field recording from my back garden. It captured the trickle and splashes of a bird bath fountain, cars driving down the road and birdsong. I set up my modular rig and created a very loose synthetic approximation of water burbling, crows cawing traffic and tweeting. I then got a bit carried away in the middle but kept in it cuz it was fun going a bit crazy.

Back Garden (disquiet0531)

This weeks assignment was to remix a trio from an earlier disquiet project.

I very much enjoyed the Campos track https://soundcloud.com/campos-1/on-their-way-with-krakenkraft-and-morgulbee-disquiet0527, So I attacked it with delays and fx and added a more repetitive beat, creating a more washed out remix of the original. Heavy usage of Permut8 with lfo's for the noise barrages.
