It's such a privilege to welcome one of my favorite producers to the series, Amsterdam's Human Space Machine, whose brilliant productions are a constant source of inspiration and a presence in so many of my favorite dancefloor memories. “For this mix I wanted to capture the icy freshness of January, a month filled with new energy, bright skies, and winter’s introspection. Inspired by a trip in the mountains: cold alpine air, glittering snow, and vast expanses of rock nestled amongst forests of pine trees. Early on the day but on the edge of heat-stroke with all of you, covering with cardboards and whatever we found the machines, also on the edge of exploding, on a day that would expand and evolve followed by a crazy line-up into that magic forest. 
It was for us a perfect way to get together again after so many years and try to synchronize a totally unrehearsed sonic adventure in which you might even learn some stuff about whales or whatever those voices say. Hope you enjoy this middle hour of the live set.

It's time to share the second beautiful episode of our SoundSculptors series with you. We invited the Zurich based artist live ensemble @regula-rec and chose their wonderful journey which they played in September 2023 for the @iorecs night at Kauz, Zurich. Their sound aesthetics are absolutely unique and precisely designed. Full of spicy grooves, filigree atmospheres and beautiful synth lines. 🎹 🎛️
The set was not recorded from the first second, around fifty minutes are missing. But the remaining 2 hours are so fantastic that we definitely wanted to share this with you 🌹

For this 60th episode, we invited the talented producer Caldera who enlights us with a very beautiful and deep mix.
If you don't know him yet; since 2012, Caldera has been creating a unique and personal blend of Techno and Bass music with a love for detail and a dedicated sounddesign that immerses listeners into imaginary worlds.
His experiments with drums and rhythms result in grooves that explore a deeper side of dance music while leaving bpm and genre restrictions behind.
Caldera's creations have found a home on labels such as Berlin's Nummer Music, Chicago's Kimochi Sound and Bristol's Pressure Dome while his Loop LF moniker has previously been a mainstay on London based Well Steet Records.
Right now we're eagerly waiting for his upcoming release on @melifera_records.

When we asked the artist for a few words about the mix he told us, that the inspiration for it stemmed from a preference for slower, more meditative transitions and a deliberate, gradual increase in intensity.
The mix aims to evoke a sense of transitioning from the somber winter into the hopeful beginnings of spring, reflecting a personal journey from adversity towards renewal and positivity.
