Having listened to this mix, this is a grooovy as faaaack mix from Louis full of good vibes just how we love them! It has transformed my regular morning into a splendid feel good and positive morning! Now what more can you ask for when pressing play to 90 minutes of goodness? 

Long term fan of Louis and his way of putting together a massive track list full of quality tracks with transitions binding the mix for a constant progressive feel throughout. He does not do many mix tapes so we are honored that he has taken the time to put something special for us. Electribal 6 was built with special attention to artists who have put more effort into combining tribal sounds with the downtempo genre, without diminishing one or the other. Artists such as Ome, Quixosis, Rodrigo Gallardo or Muno have shown a serious commitment to rescue lost sound files and bring them back to light using electronic music as a medium, without altering them too much and without sacrificing the purity of the bass. Electribal 6 - Deep Tribal Fall Mixtape 2018

Been working on this live set for Cacao ceremony.

I only managed to prepare for the first 22 minutes. Starting with ambient and then a percussive section with some polyrhythms before going electronic.  Everything after that is an improvised mixing of some old tracks, hence it went quite trancy ;  ) For future ceremonies i want to have more deep, tribal and shamanic dance material ready.  

Please excuse my fuck up when mixing in the Mongolian chants towards the end and also a few other bad ones that hopefully not too many people will notice.  

Thank you Shivani for this beautiful event.  Was a real pleasure and honor to be part of this ecstatic event of dance, yoga, meditation,  Cacao, pure love, light and connection.  Looking forward to attending and participating in more events in the future.  Thank you for your amazing work.

We never finished the track but i used it for the intro.  Cellos and voices separated and mixed in live.  Also thank you for the track, "Vi Kom", that you invited me to remix, very grateful and happy to be part of this beautiful project.  People absolutely loved this track, and so do i.  Thank you. Manipura translates from Sanskrit as the "City of Jewels" Mani - gem, Pura or Puri - city). Manipura is often associated with the colors yellow,blue in classical tantra, and red in the Nath tradition.

Manipura is considered the center of dynamism, energy, will power (Itcha shakti), and achievement, which radiates prana throughout the entire human body. It is associated with the power of fire as well as with the sense of sight and the action of movement. Through meditating on Manipura, one is said to attain the power to save,change or destroy the world.

In Chinese qigong, there is a degree of correspondance with the term "Kua" or door. this series of doors connect with three Dantians that act as furnaces to convert different energies in the body. The lower Dantian exists in the stomach region. Its function is to convert sexual jing energy into Qi energy (a concept similar to Hindu prana). This is not the location of the lower Dantian.

The ten petals of Manipura are dark-blue or black, like heavily laden rain clouds, with the syllables ḍaṁ, ḍhaṁ, ṇaṁ, taṁ, thaṁ, daṁ, dhaṁ, naṁ, paṁ, and phaṁ upon them in a dark-blue color.

Some words from Treavor: 

I don't play Ecstatic Dance events often, but I've performed at several during the Ecstatic Awakenings Retreats hosted by the lovely Ronja Sebastian. I really love playing these events, because Ronja puts her full trust in me to achieve the one main goal of making people dance ecstatically. She doesn't put rules on me about how the set needs to go or what type of music I need to play, which is a huge reason I don't seek out gigs at e-dance events usually. She knows that I know who Im playing for and how to get them dancing! This past December 2018 the retreat took place in Bali which is one of my favorite places on earth! I happened to hit the record button on my set there and Im really happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!!!
