A wild one to catch indeed, Predominantly he has produced a flavour of raunchy and funky glitch hop, but has recently gone to the deeper, dirtier side of bass music.  This untamed beast unleashes tight drums, intricate bass and sneaky, sleazy grooves with ridiculously large sounds to build the kind of vibe that awakens the animal within us all. By the end of a set don’t be surprised to be screaming, swinging from branches or throwing banana peels at loved ones. FarfetchD has played at the top festivals in Australia such as Rainbow Serpent, REL, Earth Frequency, Esoteric and many more, He has also spread his wings and travelled afar touring alongside the best in the game Internationally.  This rare and unique species is a solid staple to any proper glitch/bass session…. Mood Swing and Chevy Bass have cemented their spot as one Australia’s most exciting and entertaining live acts and undisputed party starters. The genre bending live electronic duo conduct their shows like ring masters of a circus, encouraging crowds to surrender their inhibitions to the rhythm and let loose their inner party animals.
Their unique brand of electronic bass music crosses over and infuses multiple genres while they live remix on the spot. Their trademark sets described as funky in the front and filthy in the back will take you on a journey, kicking off with ghetto funk and glitch infused party jams and flowing all the way though to filthy & fat house bass lines, all while adding their multi-instrumental skills to give each show a unique live flavour.
But it’s not only their music that has been getting bodies moving and chins wagging. With a penchant for theatrics each live show is crafted uniquely, featuring wailing keytars, electronic samplers, tribal percussion, banging horn sections, electric cello and dance floor aerobics…you name it, you’re sure to see it at a Mood Swing & Chevy Bass show.
Since their inception in 2015 they have entertained crowds across the globe in the United States, Canada, Europe and home in Australia, playing the likes of Boomtown Fair (UK),Burning Man (USA), Rainbow Serpent, Splendour in the Grass, Earth Frequency Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Subsonic just to name a few. They’ve shared the stage with artists like, Claptone, Chris Lake, Sevenn, Shapeless, Opiou & Funk Hunters
2019 saw the duo’s debut EP ‘Bring it on Down’ signed to Brazilian heavyweight label, G Mafia Records. Followed up in 2020 with another release on G Mafia ‘Take Ya Back’

Steve is a DJ playing the bars/clubs around Birmingham and the Midlands plus guest spots in London.
He really love spinning his  tunes and making people dance or leave!!!!!. He has  played with the likes of Mani (Stone Roses/Primal Scream), Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles, Barry Ashworth(Dub Pistols), John Carter, Mystery Jets, The Kooks, Maximo Park, Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets), Quireboys, Rich Pack, The Ripps, Kerrang Radio, Nigel Clarke (Dodgy), The Courteeners, Andy Smith(Portishead), Keb Darge, Eddie Pillar, Greg Wilson, Tim Burgess(The Charlatans), Bonehead (Oasis) , Pete Jordan, The Wiseguys, Freddy Fresh,

Playing a mix of Funk/Hip Hop/Soul/Reggae/Northern/Breaks/Boogaloo and more.

Steve now has residencies @ The Victoria,The Jekyl & Hyde,The Rose Villa Tavern,The Sun On The Hill & Island Bar, All in Birmingham. Fun Fair in Brighton & various Red Bull events. Plus guest spots up and down the country..
