Et tu n'entends pas comme c'est.

Cette pièce s'inscrit comme le second volet, électroacoustique, de la pièce documentaire "Pour ne plus taire les jours où". Elle entre en résonance avec une série de paroles de femmes écoutées et collectées autour de l'incorporation du sexisme et de la culture du viol. Elle cherche à faire entendre les strates de silence accumulés depuis des années, à les creuser jusqu'à ce qu'elles percent et laissent jaillir les colères enfouies.

Their first guest mix comes from @dana.sonic (they/them), an artist working on the Haldimand Tract (aka Waterloo, ON, Canada). Inspired by the CFRU radio show "Neighbouring Sounds", Dana blends their own field recordings with walrus and weddell seal calls, an aurora borealis folk tale, and music from southern Ontario's underground.

"A Beaded Gesture" captures Sandy Ewen and Jason Nazary in a bewildering live set recorded at Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. Ewen’s prepared guitar and Nazary’s drums and percussion share a deeply stimulating dynamic. Ewen has recorded with such diverse folks as Tamio Shiraishi, Roscoe Mitchell, and id m theft able, while Nazary has worked with Travis Laplante, Chris Williams, Notice Recordings alumnus Leo Chang, and the late great Jaimie Branch, among others.

Having admired both their relentless collaborative energies over the past few years, it is with great joy that we present this tightly woven, roiling, playful, and cathartic album from two vital players in New York City’s free improv scene.

Our second guest mix comes from Tina Marie fka @b0ssmentality, a Zürich-based landscape architect and current resident DJ at Kasheme with roots in Cameroon, Madagascar and Canada. Having resided in Switzerland for the past 5 years, she recently co-founded Planting Solidarity, an international collective that promotes food and land solidarity through collective knowledge exchange, participatory research, and the facilitation of events/workshops. Her first ambient mix is inspired by this summer's explorations; a journey through the intersections of healing and landscapes that blurs daydreams and reality.

Luciano Maggiore is a Palermo-born, London-based musician whose work is characterised by the use of speakers and several analogue/digital devices (samplers, CD players, walkmans, tape recorders) and addresses the performativity of the musical act, the perception of it, and the obscurity that emanates from it. His main interests include mechanisms of sound diffusion, performance, repetition, endurance, non-human animal languages, dance, folklore.
